دشّن أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، اليوم، ضمن المشاريع التنموية بمطار الملك فهد الدولي بالدمام خدمة البوابات الإلكترونية لإنهاء إجراءات المسافرين في صالات السفر بمطار الملك فهد الدولي، بحضور وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية المهندس صالح بن ناصر الجاسر، ورئيس الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله الدعيلج، ونائب رئيس الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) المهندس سامي بن عبدالله مقيم، ومدير عام الجوازات المكلف اللواء الدكتور صالح بن سعد المربع.
ويأتي تدشين خدمة البوابات الإلكترونية في مطار الملك فهد الدولي لتسهيل وتسريع إجراءات السفر باستخدام التقنيات الحديثة والذكاء الاصطناعي، التي تمكن المسافرين من إنهاء إجراءات سفرهم ذاتياً وبشكل سريع وآمن، مما يسهم في توفير الوقت والجهد.
وتُعد هذه الخطوة في إطار التعاون المشترك بين وزارة الداخلية ممثلة بالمديرية العامة للجوازات، و«سدايا»، ومطارات الدمام للإسهام في تطوير خدمات قطاع الطيران ضمن مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، بما يواكب مستهدفات برنامج الطيران المنبثق من الإستراتيجية الوطنية للنقل والخدمات اللوجستية عبر تسخير التقنيات الذكية لرفع مستوى الكفاءة وتحسين تجربة المسافرين على المستوى المحلي والدولي.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, today inaugurated the electronic gates service at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam as part of the developmental projects at the airport. The event was attended by the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, the Vice President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Engineer Sami bin Abdullah Al-Muqeem, and the Acting Director General of Passports, Major General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba.
The launch of the electronic gates service at King Fahd International Airport aims to facilitate and expedite travel procedures using modern technologies and artificial intelligence, enabling travelers to complete their travel procedures quickly and securely on their own, thus saving time and effort.
This step is part of the joint cooperation between the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Passports, SDAIA, and Dammam Airports, contributing to the development of aviation sector services in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. It aligns with the targets of the aviation program derived from the National Transport and Logistics Strategy by leveraging smart technologies to enhance efficiency and improve the travel experience at both local and international levels.
