أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن ترحيب المملكة العربية السعودية بالتوقيع على إعلان مبادئ بين حكومة جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية وتحالف نهر الكونغو - حركة 23 مارس، الذي تم التوقيع عليه في الدوحة.
وعبرت الوزارة عن تطلع المملكة بأن يشكل هذا الإعلان خطوة إيجابية نحو تحسين الأوضاع الإنسانية والاقتصادية في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية، وأن يعود بالنفع على الأمن والسلم الإقليمي والدولي.
وثمنت الوزارة المساعي الدبلوماسية المبذولة والدور البنّاء الذي قامت به دولة قطر الشقيقة في هذا الشأن.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcome for the signing of a Declaration of Principles between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Congo River Alliance - March 23 Movement, which was signed in Doha.
The ministry expressed the Kingdom's hope that this declaration would represent a positive step towards improving humanitarian and economic conditions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and that it would benefit regional and international security and peace.
The ministry appreciated the diplomatic efforts made and the constructive role played by the sisterly State of Qatar in this regard.
