وصلت إلى مطار حلب الدولي بالجمهورية العربية السورية، الطائرة الإغاثية الأولى تحمل على متنها مساعدات إغاثية عاجلة تشتمل على مواد إيوائية لتقديمها للمتضررين من الحرائق في محافظة اللاذقية؛ التي تمثل أولى طلائع الجسر الجوي السعودي الذي يسيّره مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، بالتعاون مع وزارة الدفاع.
وأوضح المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على المركز الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة، بأن هذه المساعدات الإغاثية والإنسانية المقدمة للمتضررين من الحرائق في سورية التي وصلت، أمس، تجسد روح الإخاء والتضامن الإنساني مع الدول والشعوب الشقيقة والصديقة، مشيراً إلى أن هذه الطائرة تُعد الـ17 ضمن الجسر الجوي السعودي لمساعدة الأشقاء في سورية، مؤكداً حرص المملكة على إيلاء العمل الإنساني الأولوية القصوى انطلاقاً من رسالتها السامية وتاريخها المعطاء، وإيماناً منها بأن الكرامة الإنسانية حق أساس لكل فرد على وجه الأرض.
ووقع مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة، أمس، اتفاقية تعاون مشترك لدعم وزارة الطوارئ وإدارة الكوارث السورية بالمستلزمات والمعدات والآليات اللازمة لمكافحة حرائق الغابات في بلدة كسب بمحافظة اللاذقية، وسيجري بموجبها رفع كفاءة الاستجابة السريعة والفعّالة لمكافحة الحرائق، وذلك من خلال تقديم الدعم الفني واللوجستي لفرق الإطفاء الميدانية؛ لتعزيز قدراتها الفنية واللوجستية.

The first relief plane arrived at Aleppo International Airport in the Syrian Arab Republic, carrying urgent relief supplies that include shelter materials to be provided to those affected by the fires in Latakia Governorate; this represents the first batch of the Saudi air bridge operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense.
The advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the Center, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, explained that these humanitarian and relief supplies provided to those affected by the fires in Syria, which arrived yesterday, embody the spirit of brotherhood and humanitarian solidarity with brotherly and friendly countries and peoples. He pointed out that this plane is the 17th within the Saudi air bridge to assist our brothers in Syria, affirming the Kingdom's commitment to prioritizing humanitarian work based on its noble message and generous history, and believing that human dignity is a fundamental right for every individual on Earth.
Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed a cooperation agreement to support the Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management with the necessary supplies, equipment, and machinery to combat forest fires in the town of Qasab in Latakia Governorate. Under this agreement, the efficiency of rapid and effective response to combat fires will be enhanced by providing technical and logistical support to field firefighting teams to strengthen their technical and logistical capabilities.
