تشارك مدينة «بريدة المبدعة» في مهرجان المدن المبدعة الدولي لفنون الطهي 2025م الذي انطلق أخيراً، وتستضيفه مدينة ماكاو الصينية خلال الفترة من 11 إلى 20 يوليو الجاري، بهدف تجسيد دور بريدة في توظيف الموروث والإبداع ضمن خططها التنموية، وتعزيز مكانتها كمدينة مبدعة في شبكة اليونسكو.
وكان أمير منطقة القصيم رئيس المكتب التنفيذي لبريدة المبدعة الأمير الدكتور فيصل بن مشعل بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز، قد وجه بأهمية دعم مثل هذه المشاركات، مع تأكيده على تعزيز الصورة الذهنية الإيجابية للمملكة، والمخرجات الملموسة التي أنتجتها رؤية 2030 التي تتمثل في تمكين قطاع السياحة والضيافة، وخلق الآفاق الممتدة لفرص التبادل التجاري والثقافي، الذي يعكس الثراء المتنوع للهوية الوطنية، مشيراً إلى أن تلك المناسبة فرصة حقيقية لإبراز التنوع الإبداعي الذي تمتاز به المنطقة، خصوصاً مدينة بريدة المبدعة.
وبين أمين عام غرفة القصيم محمد الحنايا أن هذه المشاركة تأتي بعد موافقة أمير منطقة القصيم رئيس المكتب التنفيذي لبريدة المبدعة، استكمالاً لمتطلبات الإدراج، في إطار تعزيز حضور المملكة الفاعل في المحافل الدولية، وضمن أهداف شبكة اليونسكو للمدن المبدعة، وتحقيقاً لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 وإبراز الثقافة السعودية وتراثها عالمياً.
وأوضح الحنايا أن هذه المشاركة تأتي للقيام بالدور الفني والتنفيذي، بالتعاون مع وزارة الثقافة، ممثلة بهيئة فنون الطهي، مضيفاً أن غرفة القصيم أنهت كافة استعداداتها للمشاركة، وحرصت على توفير جميع المتطلبات لضمان حضور مشرف يعكس مكانة المملكة، ويعزز حضور مدينة بريدة في المشهد الإبداعي العالمي.
ورفع الحنايا شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة على دعمه وتوجيهه المستمر ورعايته هذا المنجز الإبداعي، مؤكداً أن هذه المشاركة تأتي ضمن سلسلة جهود الغرفة في خدمة التنمية الاقتصادية والثقافية ودعم ملف بريدة المبدعة.
من جانبه، أكد المسؤول التنفيذي لبريدة المبدعة لدى اليونسكو سليمان القفاري أن مشاركة بريدة في مهرجان المدن المبدعة الدولي لفنون الطهي 2025 في مدينة ماكاو الصينية، تأتي بدعم من غرفة القصيم، وبمشاركة ممثلين من هيئة فنون الطهي، مبيناً أن هذا الحضور يُجسد دور المدينة في توظيف الموروث والإبداع ضمن خططها التنموية، وتعزيز مكانتها كمدينة مبدعة في شبكة اليونسكو، من خلال تمكين الطهاة والفنانين الثقافيين، ودعم الأسر المنتجة، والارتقاء بجودة الحياة، تحقيقاً لأهداف رؤية المملكة 2030.
وأشار إلى أن المشاركة تمتد لحضور عدد من الفعاليات المتخصصة، من أبرزها المنتدى الدولي لفنون الطهي، واجتماع تبادل الخبرات بين المدن الأعضاء، واجتماع مدن فنون الطهي، إضافة إلى اللقاءات الثنائية والاجتماعات الجانبية، التي تسهم في بناء شراكات دولية، وتعزيز العمل الجماعي ضمن شبكة اليونسكو للمدن المبدعة.
The city of "Buraidah, the Creative City" is participating in the International Festival of Creative Cities of Gastronomy 2025, which recently launched and is hosted by the city of Macau, China, from July 11 to 20. The aim is to embody Buraidah's role in utilizing heritage and creativity within its development plans and to enhance its status as a creative city in the UNESCO network.
The Emir of the Qassim Region and Chairman of the Executive Office of Buraidah, Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, emphasized the importance of supporting such participations, affirming the enhancement of the positive image of the Kingdom and the tangible outcomes produced by Vision 2030, which are reflected in empowering the tourism and hospitality sector and creating extended opportunities for trade and cultural exchange that reflect the diverse richness of the national identity. He pointed out that this occasion is a real opportunity to showcase the creative diversity that the region, particularly the creative city of Buraidah, is distinguished by.
The Secretary-General of the Qassim Chamber, Mohammed Al-Hanaya, stated that this participation comes after the approval of the Emir of the Qassim Region and Chairman of the Executive Office of Buraidah, as a continuation of the requirements for inclusion, within the framework of enhancing the Kingdom's active presence in international forums, and as part of the goals of the UNESCO Creative Cities network, achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and showcasing Saudi culture and heritage globally.
Al-Hanaya clarified that this participation aims to fulfill the artistic and executive role in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Culinary Arts Authority, adding that the Qassim Chamber has completed all its preparations for participation and has ensured the provision of all requirements to guarantee a distinguished presence that reflects the Kingdom's status and enhances the presence of Buraidah in the global creative scene.
Al-Hanaya expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Emir of the region for his continuous support, guidance, and sponsorship of this creative achievement, affirming that this participation is part of a series of efforts by the chamber to serve economic and cultural development and support the file of Buraidah as a creative city.
For his part, the Executive Officer of Buraidah at UNESCO, Suleiman Al-Qafari, confirmed that Buraidah's participation in the International Festival of Creative Cities of Gastronomy 2025 in Macau, China, comes with the support of the Qassim Chamber and the participation of representatives from the Culinary Arts Authority. He indicated that this presence embodies the city's role in utilizing heritage and creativity within its development plans and enhances its status as a creative city in the UNESCO network by empowering chefs and cultural artists, supporting productive families, and improving the quality of life, achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
He pointed out that the participation extends to attending several specialized events, including the International Forum for Culinary Arts, a meeting for exchanging experiences between member cities, and a meeting of Culinary Arts Cities, in addition to bilateral meetings and side discussions that contribute to building international partnerships and enhancing collective work within the UNESCO Creative Cities network.
