احتلت المملكة العربية السعودية المركز الأول عالميّاً بصفتها أعلى وجهة سياحية في نسبة نمو إيرادات السيّاح الدوليين خلال الربع الأول من عام 2025 مقارنةً بالفترة المماثلة من العام 2019، وذلك وفقاً لتقرير باروميتر السياحة العالمية الصادر في شهر مايو 2025 من منظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة.
ووفقاً للتقرير، فقد احتلت المملكة المرتبة الثالثة عالمياً في نسبة نمو أعداد السيّاح الدوليين في الربع الأول من العام 2025 مقارنةً بالربع الأول من العام 2019، والمرتبة الثانية على مستوى الشرق الأوسط للفترة نفسها.
وسجلت المملكة نمواً في أعداد السياح الدوليين بنسبة 102% خلال الربع الأول من العام 2025 مقارنةً بالفترة المماثلة من العام 2019، متجاوزةً معدل النمو العالمي 3% ومعدل نمو منطقة الشرق الأوسط 44%، مُعززةً مكانتها الريادية في المشهد السياحي العالمي والإقليمي.
ويؤكّد تصدر المملكة للمؤشرات السياحية العالمية فاعلية الجهود التي تبذلها لتطوير القطاع السياحي، وسيرها بخطى ثابتة نحو تحقيق المستهدفات السياحية الطموحة التي وضعتها رؤية المملكة 2030.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first globally as the highest tourist destination in terms of growth in international tourist revenues during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2019, according to the Global Tourism Barometer report issued in May 2025 by the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
According to the report, the Kingdom ranked third globally in the growth rate of international tourist numbers in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the first quarter of 2019, and second in the Middle East for the same period.
The Kingdom recorded a growth in the number of international tourists by 102% during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2019, surpassing the global growth rate of 3% and the growth rate of the Middle East at 44%, reinforcing its leading position in the global and regional tourism landscape.
The Kingdom's leading position in global tourism indicators confirms the effectiveness of the efforts being made to develop the tourism sector and its steady progress towards achieving the ambitious tourism targets set by Vision 2030.
