أعلنت المنافذ الجمركية البرية والبحرية والجوية، تسجيل 1,268 حالة ضبط للممنوعات في أسبوع واحد، وذلك في إطار الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها هيئة «الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك» لتعزيز الجانب الأمني وحماية المجتمع من الممنوعات بمختلف أنواعها وأشكالها.
وأوضحت أن الأصناف المضبوطة شملت 116 صنفاً من المواد المخدرة؛ مثل الحشيش، الكوكايين، الهيروين، الشبو، حبوب الكبتاجون وغيرها، إضافةً إلى 683 من المواد المحظورة.
وأشارت إلى أن المنافذ الجمركية شهدت إحباط 2,114 من التبغ ومشتقاته، إلى جانب 61 صنفاً لمبالغ مالية، و8 أصناف لأسلحة ومستلزماتها.
وأكّدت هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك، في بيانها، أنها ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة؛ تحقيقاً لأمن المجتمع وحمايته، وذلك بالتعاون والتنسيق المتواصل مع جميع شركائها من الجهات ذات العلاقة.
ودعت الهيئة، في الوقت ذاته، الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني، من خلال التواصل معها هاتفيّاً أو بريديّاً، مؤكدة أنها تستقبل من خلال هذه القنوات البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد، وذلك بسريّة تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.

The land, sea, and air customs ports announced the seizure of 1,268 cases of prohibited items within a single week, as part of the ongoing efforts by the "Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority" to enhance security and protect the community from various types and forms of prohibited items.
It was clarified that the seized items included 116 types of narcotic substances; such as hashish, cocaine, heroin, shabu, Captagon pills, and others, in addition to 683 prohibited materials.
The customs ports reported the thwarting of 2,114 tobacco and its derivatives, along with 61 types of monetary amounts, and 8 types of weapons and their accessories.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority confirmed in its statement that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the imports and exports of the Kingdom; to ensure community security and protection, in cooperation and continuous coordination with all its partners from relevant entities.
At the same time, the authority called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect the community and the national economy, by contacting it via phone or mail, confirming that it receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the unified customs system through these channels, with complete confidentiality, and offering a financial reward for the informant if the information provided is accurate.
