The Governor of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, accompanied by his deputy, Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalwa, today attended the opening ceremony of the "Bridges of Communication 2025" forum, organized by the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue in collaboration with the General Administration of Education in the region at the House of Culture in Jazan.

He also reviewed the accompanying exhibition for the forum, which features participation from the center, Jazan University, the General Administration of Education in the region, the branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, the Heritage Authority, and the House of Culture.

The supervisor of the center in Jazan, Malhi bin Hassan Aqd, presented the forum's objectives, which aim to enhance the values of cultural communication and coexistence, and to discuss topics related to mental imagery, national identity, and national belonging among community members, with the participation of several experts, academics, thinkers, media professionals, and the youth of the region, through a series of specialized sessions.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the center, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Fawzan, emphasized that cultural communication is a national necessity that contributes to protecting the social fabric and building bridges of trust and respect among the various segments of society and its cultural components. He considered cultural communication as one of the fundamental pillars for building cohesive and aware communities, helping to enhance mutual understanding between Islamic and Arab civilization, represented in the Saudi national identity with all its values and heritage, and external civilizations in various human societies.

He pointed out that the Jazan region possesses a rich cultural diversity, and today it hosts this forum to serve as a renewed platform for exchanging ideas, benefiting from experiences, and promoting the values upon which the Kingdom's Vision 2030 is based, appreciating the efforts of the forum's partners and their fruitful collaboration.

The Governor of Jazan Region then followed a visual presentation about the efforts of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, during which participants in the forum were honored.
