نفذت القوات الأمريكية جولة ضربات هجومية واسعة النطاق استهدفت أكثر من 80 موقعاً حيوياً داخل إيران باستخدام ذخائر عالية الدقة. وجاء هذا التحرك العسكري، الذي أعلنت عنه القيادة المركزية الأميركية (CENTCOM) اليوم الأربعاء، كرد مباشر وحاسم على الهجمات الإيرانية الأخيرة التي استهدفت سفناً تجارية أثناء عبورها مضيق هرمز الاستراتيجي.
ووفقاً للبيان الصادر عن القيادة المركزية عبر منصة "إكس"، فقد ركزت الهجمات الجوية على شلّ القدرات العسكرية الإيرانية التي تهدد الممر الملاحي؛ حيث طالت الضربات أنظمة الدفاع الجوي، وشبكات القيادة والسيطرة، ومواقع الرادارات الساحلية، ومنصات الصواريخ المضادة للسفن، بالإضافة إلى تدمير أكثر من 60 زورقاً صغيراً تابعاً للحرس الثوري الإيراني كانت تنتشر في المضيق ومحيطه لتقويض حركة التجارة الدولية.
وتأتي هذه الحملة العسكرية العنيفة بعد سلسلة من الاعتداءات الإيرانية التي استهدفت مؤخراً ثلاث ناقلات نفط وسفن تجارية كبرى أثناء عبورها المضيق، وهي الناقلة السعودية "إم/تي وديان"، وناقلة النفط "إم/تي آل رقيات" التي ترفع علم جزر مارشال، بالإضافة إلى الناقلة "إم/تي قبرص بروسبيريتي" التي ترفع علم ليبيريا.
من جانبه، وصف الجيش الأميركي التحركات الإيرانية الأخيرة بأنها تصرفات "غير مبررة" وتشكل انتهاكاً صارخاً وخطيراً لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار المبرم، فضلاً عن كونها تهديداً مباشراً لحرية الملاحة الدولية. واختتمت القيادة المركزية بيانها بتأكيد بقاء قواتها في حالة جاهزية قتالية تامة وعالية، بهدف محاسبة طهران وضمان امتثالها الكامل لبنود الاتفاقيات الدولية والمحافظة على أمن الممرات المائية.
The American forces executed a wide-ranging offensive strike campaign targeting more than 80 vital sites within Iran using precision-guided munitions. This military move, announced by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) today, Wednesday, was a direct and decisive response to recent Iranian attacks that targeted commercial vessels while transiting the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
According to the statement issued by Central Command via the "X" platform, the airstrikes focused on crippling Iranian military capabilities that threaten the shipping lane; the strikes targeted air defense systems, command and control networks, coastal radar sites, and anti-ship missile platforms, in addition to destroying more than 60 small boats belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard that were deployed in the strait and its surroundings to undermine international trade.
This violent military campaign comes after a series of Iranian assaults that recently targeted three oil tankers and major commercial ships while transiting the strait, including the Saudi tanker "MT Wadiyan," the oil tanker "MT Al-Ruqayyat" flying the Marshall Islands flag, and the tanker "MT Cyprus Prosperity" flying the Liberian flag.
For its part, the U.S. military described the recent Iranian actions as "unjustified" and a blatant and serious violation of the ceasefire agreement, as well as a direct threat to international navigation freedom. Central Command concluded its statement by affirming that its forces remain in a state of full and high combat readiness, aimed at holding Tehran accountable and ensuring its full compliance with international agreements and maintaining the security of waterways.
