تحولت رحلة يوم عمل عادية إلى واحدة من أكثر القصص الإنسانية إيلاماً في مصر، بعدما انتهت حياة سمر محمد حسنين، المعروفة إعلامياً بـ«فتاة الشروق»، إثر تعرضها لحادثة دهس مروع، قبل أن تتضاعف المأساة بوفاة والدتها بعد أقل من 24 ساعة، متأثرة بحالة من الحزن الشديد على فراق ابنتها.
وكانت سمر، البالغة من العمر 38 عاماً، قد غادرت منزلها متوجهة إلى مقر عملها بأحد المراكز التجارية في منطقة المستثمر الصغير بمدينة الشروق، إلا أنها تعرضت لحادثة دهس أثناء محاولتها عبور محور السادات بالقرب من الطريق الأوسط، بعدما صدمتها سيارة لاذ قائدها بالفرار دون التوقف لتقديم المساعدة.
وتلقت الأجهزة الأمنية، أمس (الإثنين) بلاغاً بالحادثة، لتنتقل قوة أمنية إلى الموقع وتجري المعاينة اللازمة، فيما باشرت فرق البحث الجنائي فحص كاميرات المراقبة وتتبع خط سير السيارة المتسببة في الحادثة، في محاولة لتحديد هويتها وضبط قائدها، بينما تواصل جهات التحقيق استكمال الإجراءات القانونية.
وكشف التقرير الطبي أن سمر وصلت إلى المستشفى في حالة حرجة، وكانت تعاني من اضطراب شديد في درجة الوعي نتيجة الإصابات البالغة التي تعرضت لها، كما أظهر الفحص إصابتها ببتر كامل في الساق اليمنى، إلى جانب كدمات وسحجات متفرقة في أنحاء الجسم، قبل أن تفارق الحياة متأثرة بإصابتها، في مصادفة مؤلمة تزامنت مع يوم عيد ميلادها.
ولم تتوقف المأساة عند هذا الحد، إذ روت والدة الضحية حجم الصدمة التي عاشتها بعدما تحولت استعداداتها للاحتفال بعيد ميلاد ابنتها إلى مراسم تشييع ودفن، وكانت تطالب بسرعة ضبط المتسبب في الحادثة وتقديمه إلى العدالة، قبل أن تتدهور حالتها الصحية بشكل مفاجئ.
وفي صباح اليوم التالي لوفاة سمر، توفيت والدتها إثر إصابتها بجلطة وتوقف في عضلة القلب، بحسب ما أكدته أسرة الضحية، بعد حالة من الانهيار النفسي والحزن الشديد على فقدان ابنتها، لتتحول الواقعة إلى مأساة إنسانية هزت مشاعر كثيرين عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
وأعادت الحادثة إلى الواجهة ملف حوادث الدهس التي يعقبها هروب السائقين من مواقع الحوادث، في ظل مطالبات متجددة بتشديد الرقابة المرورية وتسريع إجراءات ضبط المتسببين في مثل هذه الوقائع، لا سيما بعد حادثة «هدير فتاة الشاي» في منطقة حدائق الأهرام، التي أثارت بدورها اهتماماً واسعاً في مصر بسبب ملابساتها.

Samar, 38 years old, had left her home heading to her workplace at a shopping center in the Little Investor area of Shorouk City, but she was hit by a car while attempting to cross the Sadat Axis near the Middle Road, after being struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene without stopping to offer assistance.
The security authorities received a report about the incident yesterday (Monday), prompting a security force to move to the site and conduct the necessary inspection, while criminal investigation teams began examining surveillance cameras and tracking the route of the car involved in the accident, in an attempt to identify it and apprehend its driver, while investigative bodies continued to complete the legal procedures.
The medical report revealed that Samar arrived at the hospital in critical condition, suffering from severe disturbances in her level of consciousness due to the serious injuries she sustained. The examination also showed that she had a complete amputation of her right leg, along with bruises and abrasions scattered across her body, before she succumbed to her injuries in a painful coincidence that coincided with her birthday.
The tragedy did not stop there, as the victim's mother recounted the shock she experienced after her preparations to celebrate her daughter's birthday turned into funeral and burial ceremonies. She demanded the swift apprehension of those responsible for the incident and bringing them to justice, before her health deteriorated suddenly.
On the morning following Samar's death, her mother passed away due to a stroke and cardiac arrest, as confirmed by the victim's family, after a state of psychological breakdown and deep sorrow over the loss of her daughter, turning the incident into a humanitarian tragedy that moved many emotions across social media platforms.
The incident brought back to the forefront the issue of hit-and-run accidents, with renewed calls for stricter traffic monitoring and expedited procedures to apprehend those responsible for such incidents, especially following the "Hadeer the Tea Girl" incident in the Al-Haram Gardens area, which also garnered widespread attention in Egypt due to its circumstances.
