نظم فرع هيئة الصحفيين السعوديين في المدينة المنورة ورشة عمل بعنوان «الأخبار العاجلة بين السبق والمصداقية» قدمها الإعلامي والمدرب حاتم الرحيلي، وذلك ضمن سلسلة من الورش التي ينفذها الفرع لتطوير المهارات الإعلامية ورفع جودة المحتوى الصحفي.
شهدت الورشة حضوراً لافتاً من الصحفيين والإعلاميين وطلاب وطالبات الإعلام في لقاء مهني اتسم بالتفاعل والطرح النوعي، وأكد على أن العمل الصحفي لم يعد رهيناً بمن ينشر أولاً بل بمن يتحقق ويصيب الهدف.
افتتح اللقاء بعرض تعريفي حول مفهوم الخبر العاجل قدمته المتدربتان رغد المرواني وأريج المنور، في خطوة تعكس حرص الفرع على إشراك الجيل الجديد في تجارب واقعية تصقل مهاراتهم وتربطهم بالميدان الإعلامي مباشرة.
ركزت الورشة على محاور أساسية منها أخلاقيات النشر في اللحظة العاجلة وأهمية التحقق من المصدر، والفصل بين المعلومة والإشاعة، إلى جانب تحليل نماذج من أخبار عاجلة أثارت جدلاً واسعاً وتناقلتها المنصات دون تحقق.
كما تميز اللقاء بتقديم سيناريوهات تطبيقية تحاكي مواقف تحريرية واقعية اختبر من خلالها المدرب قدرة المشاركين على اتخاذ القرار في التوقيت الحرج، والتمييز بين ما يجب نشره فوراً وما يستدعي التريث والمراجعة.
وفي ختام الورشة عبر مدير فرع الهيئة في المدينة المنورة عماد الصاعدي عن شكره للمشاركين، مشيداً بما لمسه من تفاعل واهتمام بالمحتوى المهني، مؤكداً أن مثل هذه الفعاليات ترفع مستوى الوعي وتعزز ثقافة التوازن بين سرعة النشر ودقة المعلومة في زمن تتعدد فيه المنصات وتغيب فيه الرقابة التحريرية عن كثير من وسائل النشر.
وقدم شكره للمدرب حاتم الرحيلي على ما قدمه من محتوى تطبيقي وعلمي واضح، مثنياً على طريقته في تبسيط المفاهيم وتقديمها بشكل عملي، كما ثمن استضافة مدارس الأبناء والإبداع الأهلية ممثلة في المدير التنفيذي عبدالله الشريف وحرصهم على دعم المبادرات الإعلامية ضمن الشراكات المجتمعية للفرع.
The branch of the Saudi Journalists Association in Medina organized a workshop titled "Breaking News: Between Exclusivity and Credibility," presented by media professional and trainer Hatim Al-Ruhaili. This is part of a series of workshops conducted by the branch to develop media skills and enhance the quality of journalistic content.
The workshop witnessed notable attendance from journalists, media professionals, and media students in a professional meeting characterized by interaction and qualitative discussions. It emphasized that journalistic work is no longer dependent on who publishes first, but rather on who verifies and hits the target.
The meeting opened with an introductory presentation on the concept of breaking news, delivered by trainees Raghad Al-Murwani and Areej Al-Manour, reflecting the branch's commitment to involving the new generation in real experiences that hone their skills and connect them directly to the media field.
The workshop focused on key topics, including the ethics of publishing in urgent moments, the importance of verifying sources, and distinguishing between information and rumors, alongside analyzing models of breaking news that sparked widespread controversy and were circulated by platforms without verification.
The meeting also featured practical scenarios simulating real editorial situations, through which the trainer tested the participants' ability to make decisions in critical timing and distinguish between what should be published immediately and what requires caution and review.
At the end of the workshop, the director of the branch in Medina, Imad Al-Saadi, expressed his gratitude to the participants, praising the interaction and interest in professional content. He emphasized that such events raise awareness and promote a culture of balance between the speed of publication and the accuracy of information in an era where platforms are numerous and editorial oversight is absent from many publishing means.
He also thanked trainer Hatim Al-Ruhaili for the clear practical and scientific content he provided, commending his method of simplifying concepts and presenting them in a practical manner. He appreciated the support from the Schools of Sons and Creative Private School, represented by Executive Director Abdullah Al-Sharif, for their commitment to supporting media initiatives within the branch's community partnerships.
