التقى المدير العام لمنظمة العالم الإسلامي للتربية والعلوم والثقافة «إيسيسكو» الدكتور سالم بن محمد المالك، بمقر المنظمة بالرباط أمس، مدير الفريق القانوني بهيئة التراث في السعودية محمد محنشي، ومدير تجارة الأصول الثقافية بالهيئة نادر نافع؛ بهدف بحث آفاق التعاون في مجالات حفظ وتثمين التراث، ومكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع بالممتلكات الثقافية.
وتطرق اللقاء إلى أهمية العمل المشترك لصون تراث العالم الإسلامي من خلال تسجيله، وإنشاء منصات رقمية لتوثيقه، والإفصاح عن القطع الأثرية المفقودة، علاوة على مناقشة تنظيم فعاليات ثقافية وفنية مشتركة، وتدريبات عملية حول مكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع بالممتلكات الثقافية، وعقد ورش تدريبية للعاملين في المجال الثقافي، وتفعيل دور التشريعات والاتفاقيات الثنائية والدولية، والتعاون في هذا الصدد.
The Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, met yesterday at the organization's headquarters in Rabat with the Director of the Legal Team at the Heritage Authority in Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Muhnashi, and the Director of Cultural Assets Trade at the Authority, Nader Nafeh. The aim of the meeting was to discuss prospects for cooperation in the fields of heritage preservation and enhancement, as well as combating the illicit trafficking of cultural properties.
The meeting addressed the importance of joint efforts to safeguard the heritage of the Islamic world through its registration, the establishment of digital platforms for its documentation, and the disclosure of missing artifacts. Additionally, it discussed organizing joint cultural and artistic events, practical training on combating the illicit trafficking of cultural properties, conducting training workshops for professionals in the cultural field, activating the role of legislation and bilateral and international agreements, and cooperating in this regard.
