هنأت رابطة العالم الإسلامي، المملكة العربية السعودية، قيادة وشعبا، بانتخابها نائبا لرئيس المجلس التنفيذي لمنظمة الصحة العالمية، واختيارها عضوا في المجموعة الأممية رفيعة المستوى للشراكة والتنسيق وبناء القدرات لأجندة (التنمية المستدامة 2030).
وفي بيان للأمانة العامة للرابطة، عدّ الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، هذا الاختيار تأكيدا على الثقة الدولية المستحقة للمملكة العربية السعودية، وتثمينا لدورها الكبير في القضايا والموضوعات ذات الصلة، انطلاقا من عضويتها الفاعلة والمؤثرة في مجتمعها الدولي.
The Muslim World League congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both its leadership and people, on its election as Vice President of the Executive Council of the World Health Organization, and its selection as a member of the high-level United Nations group for partnership, coordination, and capacity building for the (2030 Sustainable Development Agenda).
In a statement from the League's General Secretariat, the Secretary-General and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, regarded this selection as a confirmation of the deserving international trust in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and an appreciation of its significant role in relevant issues and topics, stemming from its active and influential membership in the international community.
