تعرب وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة المملكة العربية السعودية واستنكارها لتصريحات مسؤول في سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلية، يدعو إلى فرض السيادة على أراضي الضفة الغربية في فلسطين، في انتهاك لقرارات الشرعية الدولية.
وتجدد الوزارة التأكيد على موقف المملكة الرافض لأية محاولات للتوسع في الاستيطان على الأراضي الفلسطينية، وأهمية إلزام السلطات الإسرائيلية بالقرارات الدولية، مجددةً دعم المملكة الكامل للشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق في استعادة حقوقه المشروعة، وفقاً لقرارات الشرعية الدولية ومبادرة السلام العربية، وإقامة دولة فلسطينية مستقلة على حدود عام 1967م، وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، وهو موقف راسخ وثابت لا يتزعزع.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation of statements made by an official in the Israeli occupation authorities, calling for the imposition of sovereignty over the territories of the West Bank in Palestine, in violation of international legitimacy resolutions.
The ministry reiterates the Kingdom's position rejecting any attempts to expand settlement on Palestinian lands, and the importance of holding the Israeli authorities accountable to international resolutions, reaffirming the Kingdom's full support for the brotherly Palestinian people in regaining their legitimate rights, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, a position that is firm and unwavering.
