التقت مساعد رئيس مجلس الشورى الدكتورة حنان بنت عبدالرحيم الأحمدي، بمقر المجلس في الرياض اليوم، سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية بولندا إيناس بنت أحمد الشهوان.
وهنّأت الأحمدي، السفيرة الشهوان، على الثقة التي حظيت بها لتمثيل المملكة، مؤكدةً أهمية الدور الذي تقوم به في الخارج تجاه الوطن ومصالحه، والإسهام في توثيق علاقات التعاون والصداقة بين المملكة وبولندا.
وتناولت ما يقوم به مجلس الشورى في مجال الدبلوماسية البرلمانية من خلال لجان الصداقة البرلمانية والمشاركة الفاعّلة في المحافل البرلمانية الإقليمية والدولية.
من جانبها أكدت السفيرة الشهوان، أهمية الدور الذي يقوم به المجلس من خلال الدبلوماسية البرلمانية في تقوية العلاقات والتعاون مع البرلمانات والمجالس التشريعية في مختلف دول العالم، بما يعزز العلاقات بين المملكة والدول الشقيقة والصديقة.
The Assistant to the Chairman of the Shura Council, Dr. Hanan bint Abdul Rahim Al-Ahmadi, met today at the council's headquarters in Riyadh with the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Poland, Inas bint Ahmed Al-Shahwan.
Al-Ahmadi congratulated Ambassador Al-Shahwan on the trust she received to represent the Kingdom, emphasizing the importance of her role abroad regarding the homeland and its interests, and contributing to strengthening the ties of cooperation and friendship between the Kingdom and Poland.
She discussed the role of the Shura Council in the field of parliamentary diplomacy through parliamentary friendship committees and active participation in regional and international parliamentary forums.
For her part, Ambassador Al-Shahwan affirmed the importance of the council's role through parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening relations and cooperation with parliaments and legislative councils in various countries around the world, which enhances relations between the Kingdom and brotherly and friendly countries.
