The delegation of members of the Shura Council, members of the Saudi-Hungarian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, concluded their official visit to the Republic of Hungary, where they met with the President of the National Assembly (Parliament) and held fruitful meetings with members of the counterpart Hungarian-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Hungarian National Assembly to enhance parliamentary bilateral cooperation that contributes to the development and strengthening of the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries.

During the visit, the Shura Council delegation held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Hungary, Levente Magyar, the State Minister for Water, Zoltan Nemeth, several officials from the Hungarian Ministry of Energy, and the head of the Hungarian side in the Saudi-Hungarian Business Council, Peter Karpathy.

The Hungarian officials emphasized the importance of the bilateral relations that connect the two friendly countries, expressing their appreciation for the Kingdom's pioneering role, and ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides in various fields were discussed.

The delegation of members of the Shura Council included members of the Saudi-Hungarian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, headed by the committee chairman, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qanass, and included: Zahir Al-Shahri, Dr. Salem Al-Jarba, Dr. Aisha Arishi, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Jaloud, Dr. Fares Al-Asimi, and Dr. Hisham Al-Faris.

The meetings were attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Hungary, Majid Al-Abdan.
