استقبلت رئيسة الحكومة التونسية سارة الزعفراني الزنزري، الرئيس التنفيذي للصندوق السعودي للتنمية، سلطان بن عبدالرحمن المرشد، بحضور وزيري الاقتصاد والتخطيط، سمير عبدالحفيظ، والخارجية محمد النفطي، وسفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى تونس الدكتور عبدالعزيز بن علي الصقر.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون التنموي بين الجانبين، واستعراض مسيرة الشراكة الممتدة لأكثر من 50 عاماً، خاصة في تمويل المشروعات الحيوية بتونس.
والتقى المرشد وزير الصحة التونسي، مصطفى الفرجاني، بحضور السفير السعودي، حيث ناقشا المشروعات الصحية الجاري تنفيذها بتمويل من الصندوق، وسبل دعم القطاع الصحي.
وتأتي هذه اللقاءات ضمن زيارة المرشد لتونس، التي تتخللها توقيع اتفاقية قرض تنموي مع وزارة الاقتصاد والتخطيط، بقيمة تتجاوز 38 مليون دولار، لدعم مشاريع البنية التحتية في البلاد.
The Tunisian Prime Minister, Sarah Al-Zafraani Al-Zanzari, received the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid, in the presence of the Ministers of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdul Hafiz, and Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Al-Nafiti, as well as the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr.
During the meeting, ways to enhance developmental cooperation between the two sides were discussed, and the partnership that has lasted for more than 50 years was reviewed, especially in financing vital projects in Tunisia.
Al-Murshid met with the Tunisian Minister of Health, Mustafa Al-Farjani, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador, where they discussed the health projects currently being implemented with funding from the fund, and ways to support the health sector.
These meetings come as part of Al-Murshid's visit to Tunisia, which includes the signing of a development loan agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Planning, worth over 38 million dollars, to support infrastructure projects in the country.
