أكد الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم البديوي، أن ما شهدته المنطقة من أحداث واستهداف مباشر للمنشآت النووية الإيرانية من قبل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، سيزيد من حدّة التوترات ويؤثر على الأمن والاستقرار بالمنطقة.
وقال في بيان صادر: «إن مجلس التعاون يؤكد على مضامين البيان الصادر عن الاجتماع الوزاري الاستثنائي الـ48 للمجلس الوزاري لمجلس التعاون، بشأن تطورات الأوضاع في المنطقة، وإدانته لكل ما من شأنه أن يهدّد أمن واستقرار المنطقة، وكذلك ضرورة الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار، وبذل جميع الأطراف جهوداً مشتركة للتهدئة، واتخاذ نهج الدبلوماسية، كونه سبيلاً فعّالاً لتسوية النزاعات، والتحلّي بأقصى درجات ضبط النفس، وتجنيب المنطقة وشعوبها مخاطر الحروب».

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, confirmed that the events witnessed in the region and the direct targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States will increase tensions and affect security and stability in the region.
He stated in a released statement: "The Gulf Cooperation Council reaffirms the contents of the statement issued by the 48th extraordinary ministerial meeting of the Council, regarding the developments in the region, and condemns anything that threatens the security and stability of the region, as well as the necessity for an immediate cessation of hostilities, and for all parties to make joint efforts for de-escalation, and to adopt a diplomatic approach, as it is an effective means for resolving disputes, while exercising the utmost restraint, and sparing the region and its peoples the dangers of wars."
