لم يمض على مغادرة الحجاج للمشاعر المقدسة أكثر من عشرة أيام حتى عادت إلى سابق عهدها هدوءا على الرغم من تواجد أكثر من مليون ونصف المليون من الحجاج الذين قدموا من مختلف دول العالم وأدوا مناسك حجهم.
وشرعت الجهات المختصة والمعنية في إخلاء المخيمات من كافة التجهيزات والمستلزمات وإنهاء أعمال النظافة والإصحاح البيئي.
وأكملت أمانة العاصمة المقدسة رفع نصف مليون طن من النفايات المختلفة عبر المحطات الانتقالية والضواغط الحديثة وعمال النظافة، وبدت المشاعر المقدسة كأنها مع موسم حج قريب.
وكانت المشاعر شهدت هذا العام عدداً من المشاريع التطويرية التي أسهمت في تعزيز خدمة ضيوف الرحمن، إذ تم تنفيذ وتصميم مشروع البنية التحتية للمخيمات.
ومن ضمن المشاريع، التوسع في تظليل وتبريد طرق المشاة بأحدث التقنيات، وزيادة المساحات الخضراء؛ لتخفيف أثر الإجهاد الحراري، وإنشاء محطات استراحة للحجاج وشبكة مراكز للطوارئ والإسعافات الأولية على امتداد مسارات المشاة بين المشاعر، إلى جانب تطوير منظومة برادات المياه المخصصة للشرب.

It has been less than ten days since the pilgrims left the holy sites, yet tranquility has returned to its former state, despite the presence of more than one and a half million pilgrims who came from various countries around the world to perform their rituals.
The relevant authorities began clearing the camps of all equipment and supplies and completing cleaning and environmental sanitation works.
The Secretariat of the Holy Capital completed the removal of half a million tons of various waste through transitional stations, modern compactors, and sanitation workers, making the holy sites appear as if it were during the peak of the Hajj season.
This year, the holy sites witnessed a number of developmental projects that contributed to enhancing the service for the guests of الرحمن, including the implementation and design of the infrastructure project for the camps.
Among the projects was the expansion of shading and cooling pedestrian pathways using the latest technologies, increasing green spaces to mitigate the effects of heat stress, and establishing rest stations for pilgrims along with a network of emergency and first aid centers along the pedestrian routes between the holy sites, in addition to developing the water cooler system designated for drinking.
