أجرى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان اتصالاً هاتفياً اليوم، برئيس الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية الدكتور مسعود بزشكيان.
وأعرب ولي العهد في بداية الاتصال عن تعازيه ومواساته لفخامته وللشعب الإيراني الشقيق ولأسر المتوفين الذين سقطوا نتيجة للاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، سائلاً المولى سبحانه أن يتغمدهم برحمته، وأن يمنّ على المصابين والجرحى بالشفاء العاجل.
وجدّد ولي العهد إدانة المملكة واستنكارها لهذه الاعتداءات التي تمسّ سيادة الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية وأمنها، كما تمثل انتهاكاً للقوانين والأعراف الدولية.
وأكد ولي العهد أن هذه الاعتداءات أدت إلى تعطيل الحوار القائم لحلّ الأزمة، وعرقلة الجهود الرامية لخفض التصعيد والتوصل لحلول دبلوماسية، مؤكداً رفض المملكة استخدام القوة لتسوية النزاعات، وضرورة اعتماد الحوار أساساً لتسوية الخلافات.
من جهته شكر الرئيس الإيراني ولي العهد على مشاعره النبيلة تجاه إيران والشعب الإيراني، مقدراً للمملكة موقفها في رفض وإدانة العدوان الإسرائيلي، وقدّم شكره وتقديره لخادم الحرمين الشريفين لتوفير احتياجات الحجاج الإيرانيين وتسهيل الخدمات لهم لحين عودتهم إلى بلادهم.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, made a phone call today to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
At the beginning of the call, the Crown Prince expressed his condolences and sympathy to His Excellency, the brotherly Iranian people, and the families of the deceased who fell victim to the Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, asking the Almighty to envelop them in His mercy and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
The Crown Prince reiterated the Kingdom's condemnation and denunciation of these attacks that violate the sovereignty and security of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as they represent a violation of international laws and norms.
The Crown Prince emphasized that these attacks have disrupted the ongoing dialogue aimed at resolving the crisis and hindered efforts to de-escalate tensions and reach diplomatic solutions, affirming the Kingdom's rejection of the use of force to settle disputes and the necessity of relying on dialogue as a basis for resolving differences.
For his part, the Iranian President thanked the Crown Prince for his noble sentiments towards Iran and the Iranian people, appreciating the Kingdom's position in rejecting and condemning the Israeli aggression, and expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for providing the needs of Iranian pilgrims and facilitating services for them until their return to their country.
