ولي العهد: نشدد على دور المجتمع الدولي في إنهاء تداعيات العدوان الإسرائيلي

On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, held today the annual reception for Excellencies, dignitaries, senior Islamic figures, guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, guests of government entities, and heads of delegations and offices of the pilgrims who performed the Hajj this year, led by the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muiz, the Vice President of the Republic of Benin, Mariam Shabi Talata Zimi Berima, and the former Somali President, Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

The Crown Prince delivered a speech on this occasion, the text of which is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and companions.

Your Excellencies,

Brothers and sisters, pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah,

Distinguished guests,

Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings.

On behalf of my master, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect him - it is our pleasure from the vicinity of the Sacred House of Allah to congratulate you and all Muslims around the world on the blessed Eid al-Adha, asking the Almighty to accept the Hajj of the pilgrims and their good deeds.

Allah Almighty has honored this country with the service of the Two Holy Mosques and those who visit them, including pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has placed this at the forefront of its concerns and has devoted all its capabilities to serve the guests of Allah and facilitate their pilgrimage, allowing them to perform their rituals with ease and comfort. The Kingdom will continue, with Allah's help and guidance, fully aware of the great responsibility and honor of this service.

Your Excellencies,

This year's blessed Eid al-Adha comes while our brothers in Palestine continue to suffer due to the Israeli aggression. We emphasize the role of the international community in ending the catastrophic repercussions of this aggression, protecting innocent civilians, and creating a new reality in which Palestine enjoys peace in accordance with international legitimacy.

We ask Allah Almighty to grant our country, and all Muslim countries and the world, security and stability, to accept the Hajj of the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah, and to return them safely to their families.

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Chairman of the Guests of Allah Program Committee, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, delivered a speech in which he reviewed the preparations for this year's Hajj season, which began at the end of last year's Hajj season under the supervision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, with support, guidance, and personal follow-up from the Crown Prince. This has led to the elevation of the Hajj system to unprecedented levels of integration and efficiency, noting that under the supervision of the Supreme Hajj Committee, headed by the Minister of Interior, and the follow-up of the Hajj Project Management Office (Hajj PMO), performance has unified, efforts have integrated, coordination efficiency has increased, direct contracting for Hajj missions has been opened, and more than 670 service agreements have been concluded, allowing for diversity in options and high quality.

Dr. Al-Rabiah discussed the most significant achievements in this year's Hajj, where 46 new projects were implemented in the energy sector to enhance the electrical system in Mecca and the holy sites, contributing to a 75% increase in electrical capacity in the holy sites, with a total value exceeding 3 billion riyals. In the transportation sector, more than 7,000 flights were received from 238 global destinations, and 4,700 trips were operated via the Haramain Train, along with 2,500 trips via the Mashair Train, with the participation of more than 20,000 transport buses. Additionally, the Royal Commission for the City of Mecca and the Holy Sites launched the General Transport Center, which represents the unified center for transport movement in Mecca and the holy sites.

In the health sector, bed capacity increased by more than 60%, with the opening of an emergency hospital, 71 rapid intervention points equipped in the holy sites, and ambulance capabilities increased to more than three times what they were last year. In the infrastructure sector, more than 300,000 square meters were shaded, including 170,000 designated for the pilgrims' path, 23,000 trees were planted, and the atmosphere in key locations was moderated to reduce heat stress and enhance the comfort of the guests of Allah. Furthermore, the "Nusk" application was developed to provide more than 130 digital services, facilitating the pilgrim's journey from visa issuance to return, while the "Nusk Digital Path" platform organized contracts, issued visas, and unified procedures with the relevant authorities. In the security sector, the campaign "No Hajj Without a Permit" was launched to establish discipline, protect regular pilgrims, and facilitate crowd management in a safe environment.

Following that, a speech was delivered by the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Muhammad bin Ahmad Hussein, who emphasized that one of the most important objectives of Islam and the benefits of Hajj is to maintain the unity of the Islamic nation, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and enhance affection, cooperation, and love among Muslims of various sects, colors, races, languages, and homelands, to narrow the circle of disagreements, bridge distances, unite hearts, and achieve the brotherhood of faith.

He said: "The Kingdom has reached a high status in the hearts of Muslims, working with its significant weight to unify the ranks of Muslims and fulfill the aspirations of Muslim countries and peoples through a wise and balanced approach that reflects the true image of the noble Islamic religion in its moderate and methodological essence. It has sought to promote a culture of reconciliation, tolerance, and harmony, looking to the future with a promising horizon filled with the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity."

Sheikh Muhammad bin Ahmad Hussein added, "I express my feelings and the feelings of every Arab and Muslim regarding the immense appreciation and deep gratitude for the Kingdom's historical stances in supporting and advocating for the Palestinian cause, and the Kingdom's honorable leadership of international efforts to stop the atrocities of genocide in the Gaza Strip, and the ongoing destruction and starvation perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces, in addition to the other significant tasks undertaken by the Kingdom based on its Islamic, Arab, and humanitarian values and principles, to rally international support for the recognition of the Palestinian state."

After that, the Minister of Awqaf in the Syrian Arab Republic, Sheikh Muhammad Abu Al-Khair Shukri, delivered a speech on behalf of the heads of Hajj affairs offices, expressing gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for the exceptional and qualitative efforts provided to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah.

He said: "This year's Hajj season 1446 AH continues the Kingdom's established approach to facilitating the pilgrims, embodying its eternal message in serving Islam and Muslims, and the historical honor of the leadership and people of this blessed country in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors."

He added that the comprehensive and sustainable development of infrastructure, smart service systems, and the use of the latest technologies in crowd management is evidence of the Kingdom's ambitious Vision 2030 and its impact, which has been realized ahead of time, noting that all pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah have experienced the significant facilities provided by the Guests of Allah service system to ease their journey, relying on the latest electronic systems and smartphone applications, in addition to the high competitiveness among service providers, which positively reflected on the quality of services provided and contributed to improving the pilgrim's journey in an unprecedented manner.

Sheikh Muhammad Abu Al-Khair praised the early planning and unprecedented preparations undertaken by the relevant authorities in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers to develop their services and contribute to facilitating the pilgrims and Umrah performers to the highest standards, emphasizing the support of the leadership of Hajj affairs missions for all efforts of the working agencies in the Guests of Allah service system in the Kingdom to implement the regulations and instructions aimed at organizing Hajj and protecting the security and safety of the pilgrims away from any political slogans or orientations that disrupt the spirit of this great ritual.

The invited guests had the honor of greeting the Crown Prince.
