The Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, today (Thursday), reviewed the readiness of the participating agencies for this year's Hajj to receive the pilgrims at the site of Arafat.

During his inspection visit, he met with several chairpersons of the boards of directors of the companies serving the domestic and international pilgrims, emphasizing the importance of integration between the companies and security agencies to ensure the safety and security of the pilgrims. This includes strict adherence to the timing of the crowd management during the ascent to Arafat and the stoning of the Jamarat according to the approved plans, while avoiding exposing the pilgrims to the risks of heat stress.

The Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee inspected several camps that have been prepared and developed to receive the pilgrims on the Day of Arafah, and he was briefed on the key services that have been enhanced for this year's Hajj.

Accompanying the minister during the visit were the Deputy Minister of Interior, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, the Assistant Minister of Interior, Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Battal, the Director of Public Security, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, and several senior officials.
