أكد قائد قوات الدفاع المدني بالحج اللواء حمود بن سليمان الفرج، إدراج طائرة الدرون ضمن منظومات المديرية لحج هذا العام.
وقال رداً على سؤال «عكاظ» في مؤتمر قوات أمن الحج، إن المديرية تحتضن في كل عام ضمن خططها تقنيات جديدة، وهذا العام أدخلنا طائرة الدرون في أعمال الدفاع المدني بالحج، في حالات الإطفاء أو الإنقاذ بالأماكن المرتفعة أو صعبة الوصول.
وتعمل الطائرة لمدة (12) ساعة بارتفاعات عالية، ويصل ارتفاعها إلى 200 متر مع حمولة تصل إلى نحو (40) كيلوغراماً بنظام إطفاء متعدد الأغراض وأنظمة إنقاذ وتحكم وأمان وكاميرات حرارية، مع إمكانية بث مباشر للموقع وقابلية الربط بمركز القيادة والتحكم.
وتتعدد استخدامات طائرة الدرون في المباني الشاهقة والمواقع الصناعية أو المحتوية على مواد خطرة، وتمتاز بسرعة استجابة عالية، وتقليل المخاطر على الأفراد، ودعم اتخاذ القرار عبر التصوير اللحظي.
The Commander of the Civil Defense Forces in Hajj, Major General Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, confirmed the inclusion of a drone in the directorate's systems for this year's Hajj.
In response to a question from "Okaz" at the Hajj Security Forces conference, he stated that the directorate incorporates new technologies into its plans every year, and this year we have introduced a drone for civil defense operations during Hajj, for firefighting or rescue in high or hard-to-reach places.
The drone operates for (12) hours at high altitudes, reaching up to 200 meters with a payload of about (40) kilograms, featuring a multi-purpose firefighting system, rescue systems, control and safety features, and thermal cameras, with the capability for live broadcasting of the site and connectivity to the command and control center.
The uses of the drone are diverse in high-rise buildings and industrial sites or those containing hazardous materials, and it is characterized by a high response speed, reducing risks to individuals, and supporting decision-making through real-time imaging.
