وقّع وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد الدكتور عبداللطيف عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ، ورئيس الشؤون الدينية بجمهورية تركيا الدكتور علي أرباش، أمس (الأحد)، مذكرة تفاهم في مجالات الشؤون الإسلامية.
وتتضمن المذكرة التعاون في إبراز وسطية الإسلام وسماحته، والتصدي للفكر المتطرف والغلو وقضايا الإرهاب، من خلال تبادل المعلومات والخبرات والتجارب، وتنظيم المؤتمرات والندوات والاجتماعات المشتركة، والتنسيق في المشاركات الدولية ذات الصلة بالشؤون الإسلامية.
ويأتي توقيع المذكرة في إطار العلاقات الثنائية المتميزة بين المملكة، وتركيا، وحرص البلدين الشقيقين على تفعيل أوجه التعاون المشترك في المجالات كافة ومنها الشؤون الإسلامية.

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Dr. Abdulatif Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, and the President of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Dr. Ali Erbaş, signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday (Sunday) in the fields of Islamic affairs.
The memorandum includes cooperation in highlighting the moderation and tolerance of Islam, addressing extremist thought and excess, and tackling issues of terrorism, through the exchange of information, experiences, and practices, organizing conferences, seminars, and joint meetings, and coordinating international participation related to Islamic affairs.
The signing of the memorandum comes within the framework of the distinguished bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Turkey, and the keenness of the two brotherly countries to activate aspects of joint cooperation in all fields, including Islamic affairs.
