يأتي إرسال السعودية للمساعدات الإنسانية عبر عشرات الشاحنات الإغاثية، التي تحمل على متنها السلال الغذائية والأدوية، وكل ما يتعلق بالإيواء وتوزيعها على الأسر الأكثر احتياجاً ضمن مشروع الاستجابة الطارئة في الجمهورية اليمنية، ليؤكد الجهود الإغاثية والإنسانية المتواصلة التي تقدمها المملكة عبر ذراعها الإنسانية مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة، لدعم الأمن الغذائي وتلبية الحاجات الأساسية للأسر المتضررة والنازحة في اليمن.
ولم تنتظر السعودية ما قد يصدر من الدول والهيئات والمنظمات الإنسانية على مستوى العالم، وإنما سارعت وكعادتها إلى مد يد العون للشعب اليمني في المحافظات، التي يعاني سكانها ظروفاً معيشية سيئة بسبب الانتهاكات التي تمارسها المليشيات الحوثية الإرهابية بحقهم دون مراعاة لأدنى حقوقهم وكرامتهم الإنسانية.
ولعل ما يواجه النازحين في بعض المحافظات التي تشهد مواجهات بين القوات المسلحة اليمنية الشرعية والمليشيات الحوثية الإيرانية يعكس حجم المعاناة جراء استهداف المواطنين العزل في مساكنهم من قبل المليشيات وحصارهم وقطع كل سبل الحياة عنهم وحرمانهم من أبسط حقوقهم بما فيها الخدمات الصحية التي تمر بمراحل صعبة بعد استهداف المستشفيات والمراكز والمنشآت الصحية من قبل المليشيات الحوثية.
ورغم دعوة الحكومة اليمنية الأمم المتحدة ومجلس الأمن الدولي إلى اتخاذ خطوات عاجلة وفعّالة لفك الحصار الخانق الذي تفرضه الميليشيا الحوثية على مدينة تعز، وينذر بكارثة إنسانية واسعة النطاق، إلا أن السعودية كانت سباقة في تقديم العون والمساندة للشعب اليمني في مختلف المحافظات بما فيها تعز.
The sending of humanitarian aid by Saudi Arabia through dozens of relief trucks, carrying food baskets, medicines, and everything related to shelter, and distributing them to the most needy families as part of the emergency response project in the Republic of Yemen, confirms the ongoing relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support food security and meet the basic needs of affected and displaced families in Yemen.
Saudi Arabia did not wait for any statements from countries, bodies, and humanitarian organizations around the world; rather, it quickly extended a helping hand to the Yemeni people in the provinces, where residents suffer from poor living conditions due to the violations committed by the terrorist Houthi militias against them, without regard for their basic rights and human dignity.
What the displaced people face in some provinces experiencing confrontations between the legitimate Yemeni armed forces and the Iranian Houthi militias reflects the extent of the suffering caused by the targeting of unarmed citizens in their homes by the militias, besieging them, cutting off all means of life, and depriving them of their most basic rights, including health services, which are undergoing difficult phases after the targeting of hospitals, centers, and health facilities by the Houthi militias.
Despite the Yemeni government's call for the United Nations and the Security Council to take urgent and effective steps to lift the suffocating siege imposed by the Houthi militia on the city of Taiz, which threatens a large-scale humanitarian disaster, Saudi Arabia was quick to provide aid and support to the Yemeni people in various provinces, including Taiz.
