دعت المحكمة العليا عموم المسلمين في جميع أنحاء المملكة إلى تحري رؤية هلال شهر ذي الحجة مساء الثلاثاء التاسع والعشرين من شهر ذي القعدة لهذا العام 1446هـ.
جاء ذلك في بيان للمحكمة العليا في ما يلي نصه:
الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على نبينا محمد، وعلى آله وصحبهِ أجمعين، وبعد:
فنظراً لما تضمنه قرار المحكمة العليا رقم (194 / هـ) وتاريخ 29 / 10 / 1446هـ أن يوم الثلاثاء 1 / 11 / 1446هـ ـ حسب تقويم أم القرى ـ الموافق 29 / 4 / 2025م، هو غرة شهر ذي القعدة لعام 1446هـ؛ فإن المحكمة العليا تُرغِب إلى عموم المسلمين في جميع أنحاء المملكة تحرّي رؤية هلال شهر ذي الحجة مساء يوم الثلاثاء 29 / 11 / 1446هـ ـ حسب تقويم أم القرى ـ الموافق 27 / 5 / 2025م.
وترجو المحكمة العليا ممّن يراه بالعين المجرّدة، أو بواسطة المناظير إبلاغ أقرب محكمة إليه وتسجيل شهادته إليها، أو الاتصال بأقرب مركزٍ لمساعدته في الوصول إلى أقرب محكمة.
وتأمل المحكمةُ العليا ممّن لديه القدرة على الترائي الاهتمام بهذا الأمر، والانضمام إلى اللجان المشكلة في المناطق لهذا الغرض، واحتساب الأجر والثواب بالمشاركة؛ لما فيه من التعاون على البرّ والتقوى، والنفع لعموم المسلمين.
والله الموفق، وصلى الله وسلم على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وأصحابه أجمعين.
The Supreme Court has called upon all Muslims throughout the Kingdom to sight the crescent moon of the month of Dhul-Hijjah on the evening of Tuesday, the twenty-ninth of the month of Dhul-Qi'dah for the year 1446 AH.
This was stated in a statement from the Supreme Court, the text of which is as follows:
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions. To proceed:
In light of what is included in the Supreme Court's decision No. (194 / H) dated 29 / 10 / 1446 AH that Tuesday, 1 / 11 / 1446 AH — according to the Umm al-Qura calendar — corresponding to 29 / 4 / 2025 AD, is the first day of the month of Dhul-Qi'dah for the year 1446 AH; the Supreme Court encourages all Muslims throughout the Kingdom to sight the crescent moon of the month of Dhul-Hijjah on the evening of Tuesday, 29 / 11 / 1446 AH — according to the Umm al-Qura calendar — corresponding to 27 / 5 / 2025 AD.
The Supreme Court hopes that anyone who sees it with the naked eye, or through telescopes, will inform the nearest court and register their testimony there, or contact the nearest center to assist them in reaching the nearest court.
The Supreme Court also hopes that those who have the ability to sight the moon will pay attention to this matter and join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose, seeking reward and virtue through participation; for it involves cooperation in righteousness and piety, and benefits all Muslims.
