«الشركة السعودية للكهرباء» تُجري الاختبار الأول لمحاكاة الأحمال الكهربائية وتستعد لاختبار ثانٍ نهاية الشهر الجاري

Under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Energy, and in coordination with the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority and relevant entities, the Saudi Electricity Company conducted the first comprehensive test of the public electrical network; to simulate actual loads during the Hajj season, by operating all electrical loads at all its sites and camps. This is part of the company's preparations to provide reliable electrical service in the holy sites during the Hajj season of 1446.

The test aims to measure the efficiency of the public electrical network, enabling the camps and sites in the holy sites to test their internal networks, assess their load levels, and ensure integration among the various participating entities, to confirm the readiness of the electrical network and its ability to provide safe and reliable electrical services. This allows all relevant entities serving the guests of Allah to carry out their work and enrich the experience of the pilgrims, facilitating the performance of rituals with ease and reassurance.

The company indicated that it will conduct a second comprehensive test of the public electrical network in the holy sites on the 29th of Dhu al-Qi'dah this year.

It is worth mentioning that the operational plan for electricity services during this year's Hajj season is being supervised by the Ministry of Energy, with direct support from the Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, in coordination and integration with various relevant entities within and outside the energy system.
