وقّع مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، أمس، مشروع برنامجٍ مشتركٍ مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP)؛ لإعادة تأهيل المخابز المتضررة في سورية، بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ خمسة ملايين دولار أمريكي، وذلك على هامش أعمال المنتدى الإنساني الأوروبي 2025م في مدينة بروكسل.
وقّع المشروع المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على المركز الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة، ومدير برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي أكيم شتاينر. وسيجري بموجب المشروع تأهيل 33 مخبزاً حكوميّاً متضرراً بمحافظات ريف دمشق، واللاذقية، ودرعا، ودير الزور، وحمص، والسويداء، وحماة، وحلب، ويهدف المشروع إلى تعزيز الأمن الغذائي في المناطق التي تضم أعداداً كبيرة من العائدين والنازحين والمجتمعات المستضيفة، وتوفير 500 فرصة عمل في المخابز مما سيسهم في إنعاش الاقتصاد المحلي.

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works signed yesterday a joint program project with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to rehabilitate damaged bakeries in Syria, with a total value of five million US dollars, on the sidelines of the European Humanitarian Forum 2025 in Brussels.
The project was signed by the advisor at the Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the Center, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, and the Director of the United Nations Development Program, Achim Steiner. Under the project, 33 damaged government bakeries will be rehabilitated in the provinces of Rural Damascus, Latakia, Daraa, Deir ez-Zor, Homs, Suwayda, Hama, and Aleppo. The project aims to enhance food security in areas that host large numbers of returnees, displaced persons, and host communities, and to provide 500 job opportunities in the bakeries, which will contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
