في ضربة أمنية حاسمة، نجحت الأجهزة الأمنية بوزارة الداخلية المصرية في تفكيك تشكيل عصابي شديد الخطورة يتألف منأربعة عناصر جنائية، عقب محاولتهم جلب وترويج شحنة ضخمة من المواد المخدرة، فضلاً عن حيازتهم لقطع أثرية وأسلحة نارية.
أسفرت العملية الأمنية؛ التي نُفذت بدائرة مركز شرطة منشأة القناطر بمحافظة الجيزة، عن ضبط أفراد التشكيل العصابي وبحوزتهم كمية كبيرة من المواد المخدرة بلغت 150 كيلوغراماً من مخدر الحشيش، إضافة إلى أربع قطع أسلحة نارية متنوعة وذخائر، فضلاً عن 90 قطعة يُشتبه في أثريتها جرى تحويلها إلى الجهات المختصة لفحصها وتحديد قيمتها التاريخية.
جاءت العملية عقب تحريات مكثفة أجراها قطاع مكافحة المخدرات والأسلحة والذخائر غير المرخصة، بالتنسيق مع القطاعات المعنية. وعقب تقنين الإجراءات وتتبع تحركات عناصر التشكيل، أُعدت لهم أكمنة محكمة أدت إلى إلقاء القبض عليهم في قبضة رجال الأمن.
قُدّرت القيمة المالية للمواد المخدرة المضبوطة بنحو 16 مليون جنيه مصري (ما يعادل 315 ألف دولار أمريكي). وقد تم اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة حيال المتهمين، وإحالتهم للنيابة العامة لمباشرة التحقيقات.
In a decisive security operation, the security forces of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior succeeded in dismantling a highly dangerous criminal gang consisting of four criminal elements, following their attempt to bring in and promote a massive shipment of narcotic substances, as well as their possession of antiquities and firearms.
The security operation, which was carried out in the area of the Manshat al-Qanater Police Station in Giza Governorate, resulted in the arrest of the gang members, who were found in possession of a large quantity of narcotics amounting to 150 kilograms of hashish, in addition to four various firearms and ammunition, as well as 90 pieces suspected to be antiquities that were referred to the relevant authorities for examination and to determine their historical value.
The operation came after intensive investigations conducted by the Anti-Narcotics and Unlicensed Weapons and Ammunition Sector, in coordination with the relevant sectors. After legal procedures were taken and tracking the movements of the gang members, well-prepared ambushes were set up that led to their arrest by security forces.
The estimated financial value of the seized narcotics is about 16 million Egyptian pounds (equivalent to 315,000 US dollars). All necessary legal measures have been taken against the accused, and they have been referred to the Public Prosecution to initiate investigations.
