أعلن متحف مسك للتراث «آسان»، البدء بتنفيذ مبنى المتحف في الدرعية، ويعد مقر المتحف من أبرز المواقع التراثية في المملكة. وتزامن الإعلان عن بداية البناء مع اليوم العالمي للمتاحف؛ وذلك خلال فعالية خاصة نظمها المتحف بحضور ممثلين عن مؤسسة محمد بن سلمان «مسك» وشركة الدرعية، إضافة إلى مشاركة ممثلي عدد من وسائل الإعلام المحلية.
وتمثّل انطلاقة أعمال بناء «آسان» لحظة فارقة في مسيرة تشييد صرح ثقافي يحتفي بالتراث الوطني، ويبرز مكانته عالمياً، في تجسيد حيّ لالتزام المملكة، بحماية إرثها الثقافي وتعزيز هويتها الوطنية، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وأوضح الرئيس التنفيذي لمتحف «آسان» خالد الصقر أن بناء «آسان» بالتزامن مع اليوم العالمي للمتاحف يعد إنجازاً رئيسياً وعلامة فارقة في رحلتنا نحو صون التراث السعودي وإبراز عراقة موروثنا السعودي الأصيل عالمياً. ولا يقتصر دور متحف «آسان» على حفظ وعرض القطع والمقتنيات التراثية، لافتاً إلى ما يضيفه من تجارب تفاعلية ملهمة تسهم في مد جسور التواصل بين أجيال الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل، وتعزز مشاعر الانتماء والفخر بالهوية الوطنية السعودية، بما يسهم في ترسيخ مكانة التراث السعودي على الساحة العالمية. وأضاف الصقر: انطلاقاً من إيماننا بأهمية إشراك المجتمع في مهمة الحفاظ على تراثه، سيقدم «آسان» مجموعة متنوعة من البرامج والأنشطة التفاعلية التي تهدف إلى توثيق وصون التراث تحت إشراف خبراء متخصصين، إضافة إلى تجارب تفاعلية مستوحاة من التراث السعودي مصممة لتغذية الشغف والإبداع وتعزيز التفاعل الثقافي بين مختلف فئات المجتمع.
فيما أكد الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة شركة الدرعية جيري إنزيريلو أن «آسان» إضافة نوعية لمنظومة المشاريع الثقافية التي سيحتضنها مشروع الدرعية، ويعكس التزامنا بإبراز عراقة التراث السعودي بطرقٍ معاصرةٍ تُعزّز من حضوره العالمي، إذ إن رؤية المتحف تتكامل مع جهودنا في جعل الدرعية وجهةً عالميةً نابضةً بالتاريخ والثقافة والهوية الوطنية الأصيلة، مشيراً إلى ما يحققه «آسان» من برامج وفعاليات وأنشطة تُثري تجارب مختلف فئات المجتمع والزوار من كافة أنحاء العالم.
تتمثل مهمة «آسان» في صون التراث السعودي والاحتفاء بأصالته وتنوعه من خلال عرض مجموعات واسعة من القطع والمقتنيات التراثية في معارض تفاعلية ومساحات ملهمة.
يذكر أن مبنى المتحف سيتبوأ مساحة 40000 متر مربع، ويتجاوز في تصميمه وبرامجه ومبادراته المتنوعة المفهوم التقليدي للمتاحف؛ إذ يقدم تجارب ثقافية متكاملة تُمكّن الزوار من استكشاف عظمة التراث السعودي، وتعكس أنماط الحياة السعودية الأصيلة، من خلال المساحات التفاعلية وورش العمل والأنشطة المستوحاة من البيئة المحلية، ما يتيح للزوار فرصة عيش تفاصيل الحياة اليومية للسعوديين كما عاشها الأجداد في الماضي، بما يشمل التعرف إلى الفنون، والحرف، والقصص، والعادات والتقاليد والقيم الاجتماعية، ليشكل المتحف نافذة نابضة بالحياة تعكس عمق الثقافة السعودية بأبعادها المختلفة وأصالة التراث السعودي بجوانبه المادية وغير المادية.
ويُعد «آسان» إحدى الجهات التابعة لمؤسسة محمد بن سلمان «مسك»، ويتميز بتصميم مبتكر من إعداد شركة «زها حديد»، مستوحى من الطابع العمراني النجدي، ليعكس الهوية التراثية والمعمارية للمملكة. ويضم عند افتتاحه مختبراً مخصصاً لترميم وصيانة المقتنيات التراثية والتحف الفنية والأثرية، ما يجعل من المختبر وجهة للمتخصصين والمهتمين بالتراث لتبادل الخبرات والمعارف، وداعماً للجيل القادم من المتخصصين في مجال المتاحف.
The Misk Museum for Heritage "Aasaan" has announced the commencement of the museum building in Diriyah, which is one of the most prominent heritage sites in the Kingdom. The announcement of the start of construction coincided with International Museum Day; this was during a special event organized by the museum with the presence of representatives from the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation "Misk" and the Diriyah Company, in addition to representatives from several local media outlets.
The launch of the construction works for "Aasaan" represents a pivotal moment in the journey of building a cultural edifice that celebrates national heritage and highlights its global significance, embodying the Kingdom's commitment to protecting its cultural legacy and enhancing its national identity, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The CEO of the "Aasaan" Museum, Khalid Al-Saqr, explained that building "Aasaan" coinciding with International Museum Day is a major achievement and a significant milestone in our journey towards preserving Saudi heritage and showcasing the richness of our authentic Saudi legacy globally. The role of the "Aasaan" Museum is not limited to preserving and displaying heritage pieces and artifacts, noting the inspiring interactive experiences it adds that contribute to bridging the communication between generations of the past, present, and future, and enhance feelings of belonging and pride in the Saudi national identity, thus contributing to solidifying the position of Saudi heritage on the global stage. Al-Saqr added: Based on our belief in the importance of involving the community in the mission of preserving its heritage, "Aasaan" will offer a variety of interactive programs and activities aimed at documenting and preserving heritage under the supervision of specialized experts, in addition to interactive experiences inspired by Saudi heritage designed to nurture passion and creativity and enhance cultural interaction among various segments of society.
Meanwhile, the CEO of the Diriyah Company Group, Jerry Inzerillo, confirmed that "Aasaan" is a qualitative addition to the system of cultural projects that the Diriyah project will host, reflecting our commitment to showcasing the richness of Saudi heritage in contemporary ways that enhance its global presence. It is noteworthy that the museum building will occupy an area of 40,000 square meters, and its design, programs, and diverse initiatives exceed the traditional concept of museums; it offers integrated cultural experiences that enable visitors to explore the greatness of Saudi heritage and reflect the authentic Saudi lifestyles through interactive spaces, workshops, and activities inspired by the local environment, allowing visitors to experience the details of daily life for Saudis as their ancestors lived in the past, including learning about arts, crafts, stories, customs, traditions, and social values, making the museum a vibrant window reflecting the depth of Saudi culture in its various dimensions and the authenticity of Saudi heritage in its material and immaterial aspects.
"Aasaan" is one of the entities affiliated with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation "Misk," and it features an innovative design prepared by Zaha Hadid Architects, inspired by the Najdi architectural style, reflecting the heritage and architectural identity of the Kingdom. Upon its opening, it will include a dedicated laboratory for the restoration and maintenance of heritage artifacts and artistic and archaeological treasures, making the laboratory a destination for specialists and heritage enthusiasts to exchange experiences and knowledge, and a supporter of the next generation of specialists in the field of museums.
