تواصل المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني، تنفيذ برنامج التوعية بالظواهر الجوية تحت شعار «مهم تدري»، بهدف تعزيز ثقافة الوقاية ورفع جاهزية المجتمع في التعامل مع التقلبات المناخية.
ويقدم الدفاع المدني، بالتعاون مع الجهات المعنية، رسائل توعوية توضّح معاني التنبيهات الجوية وكيفية التصرف السليم عند صدورها، إضافة إلى إرشادات السلامة المتعلقة بالحالات المطرية، حفاظًا على الأرواح والممتلكات وتعزيزًا للسلامة العامة.
وأكدت المديرية، ضرورة الابتعاد عن المناطق المنخفضة وتجمعات المياه ومجاري الأودية أثناء هطول الأمطار، وعدم المجازفة بعبور الأودية خلال جريان السيول، مع التحلي بالحيطة والحذر عند التنقل أو ممارسة الأنشطة الخارجية. كما شددت على أهمية الالتزام بتعليمات السلامة الصادرة عبر القنوات الرسمية ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وطلب المساعدة في الحالات الطارئة.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense continues to implement the awareness program on weather phenomena under the slogan "Important Training," aiming to enhance the culture of prevention and increase community readiness to deal with climate fluctuations.
The Civil Defense, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, provides awareness messages that clarify the meanings of weather alerts and how to respond appropriately when they are issued, in addition to safety guidelines related to rainy conditions, in order to protect lives and property and to enhance public safety.
The Directorate emphasized the necessity of staying away from low-lying areas, water accumulation, and riverbeds during rainfall, and not risking crossing rivers during flooding, while exercising caution and care when moving or engaging in outdoor activities. It also stressed the importance of adhering to safety instructions issued through official channels and social media, and seeking help in emergency situations.
