The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Hakan Fidan, at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.

Following the reception, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Turkish counterpart chaired the second meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council, during which they discussed intensifying mechanisms for bilateral cooperation in various fields and ways to enhance joint coordination on issues of mutual interest to the two brotherly countries that serve their common interests.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Turkish counterpart signed the minutes of the second meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council.

Subsequently, a memorandum of understanding was signed regarding cooperation in the field of diplomatic training between the Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Turkey. The Saudi side was represented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Engineer Walid Abdulkarim Al-Khreeji, and the Turkish side was represented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Dr. Nuh Yılmaz.
