قبضت شرطة منطقة مكة المكرمة على وافدَين (رجل وامرأة) من الجنسية المصرية، لارتكابهما عمليات نصب واحتيال بنشر إعلانات حملات حج وهمية ومضللة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بتوفير سكن ونقل للحجاج داخل المشاعر المقدسة، وأُوقفا واتُّخذت الإجراءات النظامية بحقهما، وأُحيلا إلى النيابة العامة.
وأهاب الأمن العام بالمواطنين والمقيمين إلى الالتزام بأنظمة وتعليمات الحج، والإبلاغ عمن يخالف ذلك بالاتصال بالرقمين (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية و(999) في بقية مناطق المملكة.
The police in the Makkah region arrested two expatriates (a man and a woman) of Egyptian nationality for committing fraud by publishing fake and misleading advertisements for Hajj campaigns through social media, offering accommodation and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites. They were detained, and legal procedures were taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
The Public Security urged citizens and residents to adhere to the regulations and instructions of Hajj and to report anyone who violates this by calling the numbers (911) in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
