طالب أهالي بيشة بزيادة عدد الرحلات من مطار بيشة المحلي اليومية إلى جدة والدمام، قياساً بالتطور الذي حدث في المطار والزيادة الكبيرة في أعداد المسافرين، حيث يخدم المطار أكثر من خمس محافظات كبرى ومراكزها من مناطق عدة مثل رنية و بلقرن وتثليث وبيشة وغيرها، مما يقدم مطار بيشة خدماته لها.
وطالب علي محمد الشمراني المسؤولين بزيادة رحلات جدة حيث لايوجد إلا رحلة واحدة يومية لا تكفي الحاجة؛ كونه مطاراً دولياً يخدم جميع الدول ومحطة عبور إلى المحافظات.
وأضاف محمد الجهني طالب دراسات عليا في جامعة بيشة قائلاً: «نعاني من عدم وجود مقاعد بشكل مستمر مما نضطر الذهاب من مطار إلى مطار حتى الوصول لمقاعد الدراسة».
وأضاف فهد الشهراني: «تطلعنا لزيادة الرحلات وإضافة ناقل جوي آخر، إلا أن تطلعاتنا ذهبت أدراج الرياح، فالرحلات لا تتناسب مع الارتفاع المنظور في عدد الركاب، خصوصاً في أوقات المواسم والإجازات والأعياد».
The people of Bisha have called for an increase in the number of daily flights from Bisha local airport to Jeddah and Dammam, in light of the developments that have occurred at the airport and the significant increase in the number of travelers. The airport serves more than five major governorates and their centers from various regions such as Rania, Balqarn, Thuluth, Bisha, and others, providing its services to them.
Ali Mohammed Al-Shamrani urged the officials to increase the flights to Jeddah, as there is only one daily flight, which is insufficient to meet the demand; being an international airport that serves all countries and is a transit point to the governorates.
Mohammed Al-Juhani, a graduate student at Bisha University, added: "We suffer from a lack of available seats continuously, which forces us to go from one airport to another until we find seats for our studies."
Fahd Al-Shahrani added: "We were hoping for an increase in flights and the addition of another airline, but our aspirations have gone up in smoke, as the flights do not match the expected rise in the number of passengers, especially during peak seasons, holidays, and festivals."
