شاركت المملكة؛ ممثلة بهيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد في الاجتماع الأول للجنة التنفيذية للرابطة الدولية لسلطات مكافحة الفساد (IAACA)؛، الذي عقد أمس عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي.
وأكد رئيس هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد مازن إبراهيم الكهموس، في كلمة المملكة خلال الاجتماع، أن المملكة ممثلة بهيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد اهتمت بجانب تعزيز الشراكات الدولية في مجالي مكافحة الفساد وحماية النزاهة، وأثمرت هذه الجهود عن عدد من الإنجازات الملموسة، مشيراً إلى أن المملكة تؤمن بالدور المحوري الذي تضطلع به الرابطة الدولية لسلطات مكافحة الفساد في ترسيخ مبادئ الشفافية، وتيسير تبادل الخبرات والمعرفة والتجارب، متطلعاً من خلال العمل في الرابطة إلى إطلاق عدة مبادرات نوعية؛ ومنها عقد اجتماع عام حضوري بصفة دورية لأعضاء الرابطة في هونغ كونغ أو على هامش مؤتمر الدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد، وإيجاد آلية لتعزيز تبادل الخبرات بين أعضاء الرابطة بالشراكة مع شبكة غلوب إي، ومن ذلك عقد ورش عمل مشتركة بين الدول المهتمة والأعضاء في الرابطة، داعياً جميع الدول الأعضاء للمشاركة والحضور في المؤتمر الدولي رفيع المستوى لقياس الفساد؛ الذي سيعقد في مدينة نيويورك بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية خلال الفترة من 2 إلى 4 ديسمبر، امتداداً للمبادرة العالمية لقياس الفساد التي أطلقتها هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد في 2021م، إدراكاً منها لأهمية قياس الفساد بشكل موضوعي وحيادي، بالشراكة مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، ومكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة، ومنظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية، والأكاديمية الدولية لمكافحة الفساد.

The Kingdom participated, represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, in the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA), which was held yesterday via video conferencing.
The Chairman of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, Mazen Ibrahim Al-Khamous, emphasized in the Kingdom's speech during the meeting that the Kingdom, represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, has focused on enhancing international partnerships in the fields of combating corruption and protecting integrity. These efforts have resulted in several tangible achievements. He pointed out that the Kingdom believes in the pivotal role played by the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities in establishing principles of transparency and facilitating the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and practices. He looks forward, through working in the association, to launching several qualitative initiatives, including holding a regular in-person general meeting for the association's members in Hong Kong or on the sidelines of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, and finding a mechanism to enhance the exchange of experiences among the association's members in partnership with the Globe E Network. This includes holding joint workshops between interested countries and members of the association. He called on all member states to participate and attend the high-level international conference on measuring corruption, which will be held in New York City, USA, from December 2 to 4, as an extension of the global initiative to measure corruption launched by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority in 2021, recognizing the importance of measuring corruption in an objective and neutral manner, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and the International Anti-Corruption Academy.
