أعربت رابطة العالم الإسلامي عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديد ورفضها الكامل لمخطط «E1» الاستيطاني وما يرتبط به من أنشطة استيطانية شرق القدس المحتلة.
وفي بيان للأمانة العامة للرابطة، ندّد الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى بهذا المخطط الخطير الذي يهدّد تجسيد الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة، وبكافة السياسات الإسرائيلية الاستيطانية غير القانونية في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، ودعمها وحمايتها للانتهاكات وأعمال العنف التي يرتكبها المستوطنون بحق الشعب الفلسطيني وممتلكاته، في سياق نهجٍ إسرائيليٍ متمادٍ في انتهاك القوانين والقرارات الأممية ذات الصلة، وتقويض كل مساعي السلام.
وشدّد على الضرورة الملحّة لاضطلاع المجتمع الدولي بمسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية تجاه الوقف الفوري لجميع أعمال العنف والانتهاكات والسياسات الاستيطانية، وغيرها من إجراءات تغيير الطابع الجغرافي والديمغرافي للأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، مثمّناً البيان الصادر عن وزراء خارجية المملكة العربية السعودية، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وجمهورية إندونيسيا، وجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية، والجمهورية التركية، ودولة قطر، وجمهورية مصر العربية، في هذا الشأن، وتضامنهم الراسخ مع الشعب الفلسطيني، ودعمهم الثابت لحقوقه المشروعة، وفي مقدمتها حقه في إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة ذات السيادة، وفق مسار حل الدولتين والقرارات الدولية ذات الصلة، بصفته السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق السلام العادل والدائم في المنطقة.
The Muslim World League expressed its strong condemnation and complete rejection of the "E1" settlement plan and the related settlement activities in occupied East Jerusalem.
In a statement from the League's General Secretariat, the Secretary-General and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced this dangerous plan that threatens the realization of an independent Palestinian state, as well as all illegal Israeli settlement policies in the occupied Palestinian territories, and its support and protection of the violations and acts of violence committed by settlers against the Palestinian people and their properties, within the context of a persistent Israeli approach that violates relevant laws and international resolutions, undermining all peace efforts.
He emphasized the urgent necessity for the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities regarding the immediate cessation of all acts of violence, violations, settlement policies, and other measures that alter the geographical and demographic character of the occupied Palestinian territories, praising the statement issued by the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Turkey, the State of Qatar, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, in this regard, and their steadfast solidarity with the Palestinian people, and their unwavering support for their legitimate rights, foremost among them the right to establish an independent sovereign Palestinian state, in accordance with the two-state solution and relevant international resolutions, as the only way to achieve just and lasting peace in the region.
