The Ministry of Interior launched the "Absher Travel for Visitors" service yesterday (Monday) for those arriving through all land entry points, from citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and visitors, electronically through the Absher application, in partnership with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Tourism, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Communications, Space and Technology Authority, the Insurance Authority, the General Directorate of Passports, and Public Security.
The service, which will become mandatory six months after its launch, allows visitors to facilitate the entry procedures for travelers and vehicles automatically by completing travel procedures and fulfilling requirements digitally before arriving at the entry point, including registering traveler and vehicle data and completing the vehicle insurance process.
The Ministry of Interior clarified that visitors can benefit from the service by accessing "Absher Travel for Visitors" in the application before the trip, selecting nationality, entering mobile number and document type, specifying the entry point and expected travel date, and then completing the traveler and vehicle data and insurance.
This service is part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to enhance the quality of electronic services provided to visitors to the Kingdom, improve their experience, and facilitate their entry procedures through land entry points.
