The Ministry of Education has launched its first qualitative project aimed at developing the skills of administrators in public education schools at all three stages during the current academic year.
The program is being implemented through specialized training programs that meet their job needs and contribute to enhancing their professional competencies. The program includes a professional secretary course, beneficiary service management, student management and monitoring, and school event management, with registration for the training programs available through the education departments in the regions and governorates of the Kingdom.
The ministry indicated that the duration of the program is 60 training hours, with 15 hours allocated for each course, and it is accredited in the Faris system for promotion purposes. The trainee receives a certificate of completion of the program if they attend 80% of the hours for each program through the Human Resources Development team in the education department to which the trainee belongs, noting that registration for only one course is not allowed; registration and attendance for all four courses are required to obtain the certificate.
The trainee is allowed to be fully dedicated throughout the days of the program, and these days are counted as part of their training participation. It was noted that there is a pre-evaluation at the beginning of the first day and a post-evaluation in the last session of the third day, with each evaluation lasting 20 minutes, and the results are used to assess the effectiveness of the training program without affecting the attainment of the certificate.
