حصدت شركة «برق» جائزة Money20/20 Global Growth Grid، في إنجاز جديد يعكس النمو المتسارع الذي حققته الشركة منذ انطلاقها، ويؤكد الحضور المتنامي لشركات التقنية المالية السعودية على المستوى العالمي، وذلك تتويجًا لمسيرتها الاستثنائية التي عززت مكانتها ضمن أسرع شركات التقنية المالية نموًا عالميًا.
ومنذ إطلاق خدماتها في أغسطس 2024، سجلت «برق» معدلات نمو قياسية، بعدما استقطبت مليون مستخدم خلال ثلاثة أسابيع، و7 ملايين مستخدم بنهاية عامها الأول، قبل أن تتجاوز قاعدة مستخدميها 15 مليون مستخدم خلال عامين فقط، فيما تجاوزت القيمة الإجمالية للأموال المتداولة عبر منصتها 440 مليار ريال سعودي، بما يعادل نحو 120 مليار دولار أمريكي.
وامتدت إنجازات «برق» إلى الجانب الاستثماري، بعدما نجحت في جمع 329.5 مليون دولار أمريكي ضمن جولتها الاستثمارية من الفئة (Series A)، بتقييم بلغ 1.85 مليار دولار، لتسجل واحدة من أكبر الجولات الاستثمارية في قطاع التقنية المالية، وتنضم إلى مصاف شركات «اليونيكورن» خلال أقل من عامين على إطلاق خدماتها.
وتواصل «برق» تعزيز منظومتها المالية الرقمية وتوسيع نطاق خدماتها للأفراد وقطاع الأعمال، حيث أطلقت مؤخرًا خدماتها المصرفية للأعمال، وحصلت على الموافقة الأولية من البنك المركزي السعودي لإضافة نشاط التمويل، في خطوة تدعم توجهها نحو تقديم حلول مالية رقمية متكاملة تلبي احتياجات مختلف شرائح العملاء.
وعلى صعيد التطلعات المستقبلية، تستهدف «برق» التوسع في أسواق دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والأسواق الإقليمية، بدءًا من باكستان، مع توقعات بتجاوز إيراداتها نصف مليار دولار أمريكي خلال عام 2027، واستهداف الجاهزية للطرح العام الأولي بحلول نهاية عام 2028، بما يعكس طموح الشركة لتعزيز حضورها إقليميًا وعالميًا، والمساهمة في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 لتطوير القطاع المالي والاقتصاد الرقمي.

The company "Barq" has won the Money20/20 Global Growth Grid award, marking a new achievement that reflects the accelerated growth the company has experienced since its launch, and confirms the growing presence of Saudi fintech companies on the global stage. This award crowns its exceptional journey that has solidified its position among the fastest-growing fintech companies worldwide.
Since launching its services in August 2024, "Barq" has recorded record growth rates, attracting one million users within three weeks, and seven million users by the end of its first year, before surpassing its user base of 15 million within just two years. The total value of funds transacted through its platform has exceeded 440 billion Saudi Riyals, equivalent to approximately 120 billion US dollars.
Barq's achievements have also extended to the investment side, successfully raising 329.5 million US dollars in its Series A funding round, with a valuation of 1.85 billion dollars, marking one of the largest investment rounds in the fintech sector and joining the ranks of unicorn companies within less than two years of launching its services.
Barq continues to enhance its digital financial ecosystem and expand its range of services for individuals and businesses, having recently launched its banking services for businesses and received preliminary approval from the Saudi Central Bank to add financing activities, in a move that supports its direction towards providing integrated digital financial solutions that meet the needs of various customer segments.
Looking ahead, Barq aims to expand into the markets of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and regional markets, starting with Pakistan, with expectations of exceeding revenues of half a billion US dollars by 2027 and targeting readiness for an initial public offering by the end of 2028, reflecting the company's ambition to strengthen its regional and global presence and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for developing the financial sector and the digital economy.
