رأس محافظ الأحساء الأمير سعود بن طلال بن بدر، اليوم، اجتماع لجنة السلامة المرورية بالمحافظة، بحضور الأمين العام للجنة السلامة المرورية بالمنطقة الشرقية عبدالله بن سعد الراجحي، وعدد من مسؤولي الجهات الحكومية ذات العلاقة.
واطّلع الأمير سعود بن طلال، خلال الاجتماع، على تقارير ومؤشرات الأداء وإحصائيات السلامة المرورية لعام 2025، إلى جانب مؤشرات الربع الثالث من عام 2026، وما تضمنته من نتائج مقارنة بالفترة المماثلة من العام الماضي.
كما استعرض الاجتماع إحصائيات الحوادث الجسيمة، وتحليل أبرز أسبابها ومواقع وقوعها، مع التركيز على حوادث الوفيات والدهس، إضافة إلى المواقع الأكثر تسجيلًا للحوادث على الطرق الرئيسة في المحافظة، بما يسهم في دعم الإجراءات الوقائية وتعزيز مستوى السلامة المرورية.
وأكد محافظ الأحساء أن ما تحقق في منظومة السلامة المرورية يأتي امتدادًا للدعم الكبير الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة لسلامة الإنسان وجودة الحياة، مشيرًا إلى أن سلامة الأرواح تمثل أولوية تتطلب قراءة دقيقة للمؤشرات وتحليل البيانات وتحويل نتائجها إلى حلول وقائية وميدانية فاعلة.
وشدد الأمير سعود على أهمية تعزيز التكامل بين الجهات المعنية، وتوظيف التقنيات الحديثة وأفضل الممارسات، ومتابعة أثر المبادرات والإجراءات بشكل مستمر؛ بما يسهم في خفض الحوادث والوفيات والإصابات، ورفع كفاءة منظومة السلامة المرورية، وتحقيق طرق أكثر أمانًا وجودة حياة أفضل لسكان المحافظة وزوارها.
The Governor of Al-Ahsa, Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, chaired today the Traffic Safety Committee meeting in the governorate, with the presence of the Secretary-General of the Traffic Safety Committee in the Eastern Province, Abdullah bin Saad Al-Rajhi, and a number of officials from relevant government agencies.
During the meeting, Prince Saud bin Talal reviewed reports, performance indicators, and traffic safety statistics for the year 2025, along with the indicators for the third quarter of 2026, including results compared to the same period last year.
The meeting also discussed statistics on serious accidents, analyzing their main causes and locations, with a focus on fatal and pedestrian accidents, in addition to the locations with the highest accident rates on the main roads in the governorate, which contributes to supporting preventive measures and enhancing traffic safety levels.
The Governor of Al-Ahsa emphasized that the achievements in the traffic safety system are an extension of the significant support provided by the wise leadership for human safety and quality of life, pointing out that the safety of lives is a priority that requires a precise reading of indicators, data analysis, and transforming results into effective preventive and field solutions.
Prince Saud stressed the importance of enhancing integration among the concerned parties, employing modern technologies and best practices, and continuously monitoring the impact of initiatives and measures; all of which contribute to reducing accidents, fatalities, and injuries, raising the efficiency of the traffic safety system, and achieving safer roads and a better quality of life for the residents and visitors of the governorate.
