The Asir Region Municipality has launched 25 new investment opportunities through the "Furas" platform as part of its efforts to enhance the investment environment and expand the participation of the private sector in local development and the development of municipal assets, contributing to supporting the local economy and improving the quality of life in the region. The offered opportunities include various projects in commercial, tourism, health, and industrial fields, as well as the development of parks and public facilities.

Among the most notable opportunities is the chance to establish, operate, and maintain the industrial area in Al-Areen, covering an area of approximately 269,000 square meters, and the opportunity to establish, operate, and maintain the Aqaba Dhal Park, which spans over 281,000 square meters. The opportunities also include projects for establishing and operating restaurants, cafes, tourist resorts, chalets, and commercial and residential complexes, in addition to designated sites for commercial services, fuel stations, and parking lots, providing diverse investment options that meet the needs of investors and support urban development in the region. The duration of the investment contracts ranges from 10 to 25 years, depending on the nature of each project, which enhances the sustainability of municipal investments and increases the efficiency of utilizing available assets and sites, opening wider horizons for investors to contribute to economic and urban development. The municipality has invited investors and interested parties to review the details of the investment opportunities, their conditions, and application deadlines through the "Furas" platform, and to take advantage of the available investment potentials in the region.
