أدانت الحكومة الأردنية اليوم، استمرار اعتداءات ميليشيا الحوثيين الإرهابية على المملكة ومحاولة استهداف مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة واستهداف الأعيان المدنية والاقتصادية في عدد من المدن السعودية، وعدته انتهاكاً سافراً لسيادة المملكة العربية السعودية وتهديداً لأمنها واستقرارها وخرقاً فاضحاً للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.
تضامن مطلق مع المملكة
وأكَّدت وزارة الخارجية الأردنية في بيان تضامن الأردن المطلق مع المملكة في مواجهة الاعتداءات الحوثية ووقوفها المطلق معها في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحماية أمنها واستقرارها وسيادتها ومقدراتها وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين فيها.
وشددت الوزارة على موقف الأردن الداعم للشرعية اليمنية، وضرورة حل الأزمة اليمنية على الأسس التي تضمن استعادة الأمن والاستقرار في اليمن وحماية وحدته وسيادته ومقدراته وتلبية طموحات الشعب اليمني، وفق المرجعيات المعتمدة.
وأكدت دعم الأردن لجهود المملكة العربية السعودية الرامية إلى التوصل إلى تسوية سياسية شاملة ومستدامة في اليمن وقيادتها تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن.
The Jordanian government condemned today the continued attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia on the Kingdom and the attempts to target Mecca and Medina, as well as the targeting of civilian and economic sites in several Saudi cities, considering it a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a threat to its security and stability, as well as a flagrant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Unconditional solidarity with the Kingdom
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement Jordan's absolute solidarity with the Kingdom in facing the Houthi attacks and its full support for all measures taken to protect its security, stability, sovereignty, resources, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The ministry emphasized Jordan's supportive stance for the legitimate Yemeni government and the necessity of resolving the Yemeni crisis based on principles that ensure the restoration of security and stability in Yemen, protect its unity and sovereignty, safeguard its resources, and meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people, in accordance with the established references.
Jordan affirmed its support for the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aimed at reaching a comprehensive and sustainable political settlement in Yemen and its leadership of the coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen.
