The scientific participation of the society emphasized the importance of Saudi presence in specialized international forums, not only by representing the Kingdom but also by contributing to global scientific dialogue and sharing experiences, research, and modern practices in various dermatology specialties.
In this context, Vienna served as an important stop in the efforts of the Riyadh 2031 bid, as the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted a special meeting that brought together several international leaders, heads of scientific societies, and specialists in dermatology, to introduce the bid and highlight the advantages that Riyadh has to host this global event.
The Riyadh bid carries the slogan "United for Skin Health," reflecting the Kingdom's aspiration to host a conference that brings together the global dermatology community, opens new horizons for scientific cooperation, knowledge exchange, and experience sharing, and enhances international partnerships in the fields of education, scientific research, and healthcare.
These efforts come at a time when the Kingdom is witnessing a notable expansion in its international scientific and medical activities, with the Saudi Society for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery being one of the scientific entities contributing to enhancing the presence of Saudi dermatology on the global stage through conferences, international participations, scientific initiatives, and collaboration with specialized societies and organizations.
The Riyadh bid team continues its efforts to engage with the international scientific community and promote the bid, as part of the competition to host the World Congress of Dermatology (WCD) 2031, thereby strengthening the Kingdom's position as a global destination for major scientific and medical conferences.
