توقع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الجمعة) هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة، وتكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من منطقة المدينة المنورة، كما يستمر التوقع بتكوّن السحب الرعدية على أجزاء من مناطق حائل والجوف والحدود الشمالية، في حين تؤثر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة (20 - 45) كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف يصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
وفي الخليج العربي تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة (08 - 30) كم/ساعة وشمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة (08 - 25) كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology predicted in its report on the weather conditions for today (Friday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will lead to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of the Madinah region, while thunderstorms are expected to form in parts of the Hail, Al-Jawf, and Northern Borders regions. Active winds that stir up dust and sand will affect parts of those areas.
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly at a speed of (20 - 45) km/h, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds, and wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching over two meters with the formation of rainy thunderclouds. The sea condition is light to moderate, becoming rough with the formation of rainy thunderclouds.
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds are northwesterly to westerly at a speed of (08 - 30) km/h and northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of (08 - 25) km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter, and the sea condition is light.
