أدانت رابطة العالم الإسلامي -باستنكار شديد- الاستهدافات التي شنتها ميليشيا الحوثي على مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة، واستمرار عدوانها الآثم على المملكة العربية السعودية، وإرهاب المسلمين ومقدساتهم ومساجدهم، واستفزازهم بانتهاك حرمة المقدسات.
وفي بيان للأمانة العامة، ندّد الأمين العام للرابطة، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين، الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، بالنهج الإرهابي لميليشيا الحوثي، وما قامت به من هجمات تمسّ المقدسات والمساجد، وشملت المدارس والأعيان المدنية، في انتهاك سافر لقيم الدين الحنيف وأبسط المبادئ الإنسانية، مطالبًا الدول الإسلامية والمجتمع الدولي بإدانة الاستهدافات التي تعرّضت لها مدينة مكة المكرمة ومنطقة المدينة المنورة ممن يسمون أنفسهم بـ"أنصار الله" وما تعكسه أفعالهم من نهج إرهابي يخالف الحرمات الإلهية بتعريض أرواح المسلمين ومقدساتهم للهلاك، وليس في ذلك مِن نصرةٍ لله ورسوله -صلى الله عليه وسلم-، بل خيانة للدين والمسلمين وتنكُّب هدي الله ورسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
وجدّد معاليه باسم مجامع الرابطة وهيئاتها ومجالسها العالمية، وباسم جميع الشعوب الإسلامية المنضوية تحت مظلتها، التأكيد للتضامن الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لردع إرهاب المعتدين، وصون حُرمة المقدسات وأرواح المسلمين، سائلًا الله تعالى أن ينصرها على المعتدين الآثمين الذين انتهكوا حرمات الله ومقدسات المسلمين، وأن يحفظها وبلاد المسلمين ومقدساتهم أرضًا وقيادةً وشعبًا من كل مكروه.

The Muslim World League condemned -with strong denunciation- the attacks launched by the Houthi militia on Mecca and Medina, and the continuation of their sinful aggression against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as their terrorism against Muslims, their sacred sites, and mosques, and their provocation by violating the sanctity of these holy places.
In a statement from the General Secretariat, the Secretary-General of the League, the President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced the terrorist approach of the Houthi militia and their attacks on sacred sites and mosques, which included schools and civilian areas, in a blatant violation of the values of the true religion and the most basic humanitarian principles. He called on Islamic countries and the international community to condemn the attacks that targeted the city of Mecca and the Medina region by those who call themselves "Ansar Allah," and what their actions reflect of a terrorist approach that contradicts divine sanctities by endangering the lives of Muslims and their sacred sites. This is not a support for God and His Messenger -peace be upon him- but rather a betrayal of the religion and Muslims and a deviation from the guidance of God and His Messenger -peace be upon him-.
He reiterated, on behalf of the League's assemblies, bodies, and global councils, and on behalf of all the Islamic peoples under its umbrella, the full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes to deter the terrorism of aggressors and to protect the sanctity of sacred sites and the lives of Muslims, asking Allah Almighty to grant victory to it over the sinful aggressors who have violated the sanctities of God and the sacred sites of Muslims, and to protect it and the lands of Muslims and their sacred sites, both in leadership and in people, from all harm.
