شهدت مدينة كوم أمبو في محافظة أسوان جريمة مروعة راح ضحيتها فتحي الميرغني، عمّ الفنان المصري حمدي الميرغني، بعدما أطلق عليه مجهولون وابلًا من الرصاص أثناء توجهه إلى عمله صباح الاثنين، في واقعة هزّت الأهالي والمارة الذين شاهدوا سقوطه وسط الشارع.
حمدي الميرغني نعى عمه عبر حسابه على (فيسبوك) بكلمات مؤثرة، مؤكدًا أنه كان الأقرب إلى قلبه، قائلاً: «توفي إلى رحمة الله عمر فتحي ميرغني.. أصغر أعمامي وأحبهم إلى قلبي، هتوحشني أوي يا عمي»، مطالبًا جمهوره بالدعاء له.
وبحسب رواية شقيق القتيل، صلاح الميرغني، فإن الراحل فوجئ بسيارة تعترض طريقه، قبل أن يترجّل منها شخصان تحدثا معه لثوانٍ، ثم وجّها إليه اتهامات تتعلق بخلافات بين آخرين، لتتحول المحادثة سريعًا إلى اعتداء مسلح انتهى بإطلاق نحو 14 رصاصة أصابته في أنحاء متفرقة من جسده، قبل أن يلوذ الجناة بالفرار.
الأهالي سارعوا لإبلاغ السلطات، فيما وصلت سيارات الإسعاف لتجد الضحية قد فارق الحياة متأثرًا بإصاباته البالغة. وتم نقل الجثمان إلى المشرحة تحت تصرف النيابة العامة لاستكمال التحقيقات.
أسرة القتيل أكدت أنه كان موظفًا بمجلس مدينة كوم أمبو، وزوجًا وأبًا لأطفال، ولم يكن طرفًا في أي نزاعات، مطالبة بسرعة ضبط الجناة وكشف دوافع الجريمة التي وقعت في وضح النهار وأثارت حالة من الغضب في المنطقة.
وتواصل الأجهزة الأمنية في أسوان جهودها لتحديد هوية المتورطين في الحادث، وسط متابعة واسعة من الأهالي الذين ينتظرون كشف ملابسات الجريمة التي صدمت الجميع.
The city of Kom Ombo in Aswan Governorate witnessed a horrific crime that claimed the life of Fathi Al-Mirghani, the uncle of Egyptian artist Hamdi Al-Mirghani, after he was shot at by unknown assailants while heading to work on Monday morning, in an incident that shook the residents and passersby who witnessed him fall in the middle of the street.
Hamdi Al-Mirghani mourned his uncle on his (Facebook) account with touching words, confirming that he was the closest to his heart, saying: “Fathi Al-Mirghani has passed away to the mercy of God.. the youngest of my uncles and the dearest to my heart, I will miss you so much, uncle,” urging his audience to pray for him.
According to the account of the victim's brother, Salah Al-Mirghani, the deceased was surprised by a car blocking his path, before two individuals got out and spoke with him for a few seconds, then directed accusations at him related to disputes with others, causing the conversation to quickly escalate into an armed assault that ended with about 14 bullets hitting him in various parts of his body, before the assailants fled the scene.
Residents rushed to inform the authorities, while ambulances arrived to find the victim had succumbed to his severe injuries. The body was transferred to the morgue under the supervision of the public prosecution to continue the investigations.
The victim's family confirmed that he was an employee at the Kom Ombo City Council, a husband, and a father of children, and that he was not involved in any disputes, demanding the swift apprehension of the perpetrators and revealing the motives behind the crime that occurred in broad daylight and stirred anger in the area.
The security agencies in Aswan continue their efforts to identify those involved in the incident, amid widespread monitoring from the residents who are awaiting clarification of the circumstances of the crime that shocked everyone.
