The Attorney General and Head of the Public Prosecution Council, Dr. Khalid Mohammed Al-Yousef, confirmed on the occasion of World Law Day that the legislative development witnessed by the Kingdom, under the leadership of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, enhances the parliamentary environment, reinforces the rule of law, and aligns with the comprehensive development journey.

Foundation for Protecting Rights

He stated: "The law is a foundation for protecting rights and establishing justice, and its supremacy, clarity of its provisions, and efficiency in its application enhance trust in the Public Prosecution system, contribute to community security and stability, and support the path of sustainable development."

He added: "The Public Prosecution exercises its competencies independently in accordance with the provisions of the system; safeguarding rights and guarantees, protecting the community, and contributing to achieving justice."

He pointed out that the development of prosecutorial practices, the employment of technological capabilities, and the enhancement of human capacities are an extension of the institutional transformation program in the Public Prosecution; aimed at improving performance efficiency and keeping pace with legislative development.
