أكد النائب العام رئيس مجلس النيابة العامة الدكتور خالد بن محمد اليوسف، بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للقانون، أن ما تشهده المملكة من تطور تشريعي بقيادة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، يعزز البيئة النيابية ويرسخ سيادة القانون، ويواكب مسيرة التنمية الشاملة.
ركيزة حفظ الحقوق
وقال: «القانون ركيزة لحفظ الحقوق وترسيخ العدالة، وسيادته ووضوح أحكامه، وكفاءة تطبيقه تعزز الثقة بمنظومة النيابة العامة، وتسهم في أمن المجتمع واستقراره، ودعم مسيرة التنمية المستدامة».
وأضاف: «تمارس النيابة العامة اختصاصاتها باستقلال وفق أحكام النظام؛ صوناً للحقوق والضمانات، وحماية للمجتمع، وإسهاماً في تحقيق العدالة».
وأشار إلى أن تطوير الممارسات النيابية وتوظيف الممكنات التقنية وتنمية القدرات البشرية امتداد لبرنامج التحول المؤسسي في النيابة العامة؛ لرفع كفاءة الأداء، ومواكبة التطور التشريعي.
The Attorney General and Head of the Public Prosecution Council, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yusuf, affirmed on the occasion of the International Law Day that the legislative development witnessed by the Kingdom, under the leadership of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, enhances the parliamentary environment, reinforces the rule of law, and aligns with the comprehensive development journey.
Foundation for Protecting Rights
He stated: “The law is a foundation for protecting rights and establishing justice, and its supremacy, clarity of its provisions, and efficiency in its application enhance trust in the Public Prosecution system, contribute to community security and stability, and support the path of sustainable development.”
He added: “The Public Prosecution exercises its competencies independently in accordance with the provisions of the system; safeguarding rights and guarantees, protecting society, and contributing to achieving justice.”
He pointed out that the development of prosecutorial practices, the employment of technological capabilities, and the enhancement of human capacities are an extension of the institutional transformation program in the Public Prosecution; aimed at raising performance efficiency and keeping pace with legislative development.
