توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الأحد)، هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة، تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
وأشار المركز إلى وجود فرصة لتكوّن الضباب على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، إضافة إلى الأجزاء الساحلية من المنطقة الشرقية، فيما لا يُستبعد تكوّن السحب الرعدية المصحوبة برياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من منطقة نجران والأجزاء الجنوبية من المنطقة الشرقية.
وأوضح التقرير أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و38 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف متر إلى متر ونصف، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج.
وعلى الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية جنوبية غربية إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و25 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف متر إلى متر، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Sunday) moderate to heavy thunderstorms, leading to the flow of torrents, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah.
The center indicated the possibility of fog formation in parts of those regions, in addition to the coastal areas of the Eastern Province, while the formation of thunderclouds accompanied by active winds stirring dust and sand in parts of the Najran region and the southern parts of the Eastern Province cannot be ruled out.
The report clarified that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be from the north to the northwest at a speed ranging between 15 and 38 kilometers per hour, with wave heights from half a meter to one and a half meters, while the sea condition will be light to moderate waves.
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be from the southwest to the southeast at a speed ranging between 10 and 25 kilometers per hour, with wave heights from half a meter to one meter, and the sea condition will be light waves.
