رفع وزير المالية محمد الجدعان، الشكر والتقدير للقيادة بمناسبة صدور موافقة مجلس الوزراء على إنشاء الوعاء السعودي لتأمين أخطار الحرب للبضائع والسفن.
وأوضح أن الوعاء السعودي للتأمين البحري يمثل آلية وطنية متخصصة تعزز قدرة سوق التأمين على التعامل مع المخاطر البحرية، وتدعم استمرارية التجارة وسلاسل الإمداد، بالشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص.
وأشار الجدعان إلى أن الوعاء يرفع الجاهزية الفنية لسوق التأمين ويوسع القدرة الاستيعابية للتغطيات ذات الصلة، وفق الأطر والضوابط المعتمدة من هيئة التأمين؛ بما يدعم مرونة الاقتصاد الوطني وتنافسية المملكة بوصفها مركزاً لوجستياً عالمياً.
يشار إلى أن الشركة السعودية لإعادة التأمين تقود ترتيبات الوعاء تحت إشراف هيئة التأمين بمشاركة شركات التأمين، ويستفيد منه المؤمّن لهم عبر الشركات المشاركة ووفق الشروط والأحكام المعتمدة.
Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership on the occasion of the Cabinet's approval for the establishment of the Saudi War Risk Insurance Fund for goods and vessels.
He explained that the Saudi Marine Insurance Fund represents a specialized national mechanism that enhances the insurance market's ability to deal with marine risks and supports the continuity of trade and supply chains, in partnership between the public and private sectors.
Al-Jadaan pointed out that the fund raises the technical readiness of the insurance market and expands the capacity for related coverages, in accordance with the frameworks and regulations approved by the Insurance Authority; thereby supporting the flexibility of the national economy and the competitiveness of the Kingdom as a global logistics hub.
It is noted that the Saudi Reinsurance Company is leading the arrangements for the fund under the supervision of the Insurance Authority, with the participation of insurance companies, and it benefits the insured through the participating companies and according to the approved terms and conditions.
