أتاحت الجوازات السعودية للمقيمين إمكانية تحديث صورهم الشخصية في «هوية مقيم» عبر تطبيق «أبشر»، وربطت ذلك بتحقق شروط عدة يجب استيفاؤها في الصورة الملتقطة أو قبل التقاطها.
ونبّهت إدارة الجوازات الراغبين في تحديث صورهم إلى أخطاء شائعة تمنع اعتماد صورهم، تشمل وجود ظلال في الصورة، والإضاءة القوية أثناء التقاط الصورة، واحمرار العينين الناتج عن انعكاس الإضاءة.
ونصحت الجوازات الراغبين في تحديث صورهم بتجنّب ارتداء النظارات أو العدسات الملونة، والحرص على أن يكون الوجه مواجهًا للكاميرا دون إمالة الرأس، ويُمنع ارتداء غطاء للرأس أو قبعة وإغلاق العينين أثناء التقاط الصورة. كما طلبت من الراغبين في تحديث صورهم الشخصية تجنّب إخفاء العلامات الفارقة أو طمسها، وتجنّب فتح الفم وإظهار الأسنان.
ونوّهت الجوازات إلى أنه بعد التقاط الصورة عبر تطبيق منصة «أبشر» وتأكيد الطلب، يلزم الانتقال إلى تطبيق «نفاذ» لالتقاط صورة أخرى والتحقق من السمات الحيوية خلال فترة لا تزيد على ثلاث دقائق، مع ضرورة أن تكون الخلفية بيضاء.
The Saudi passports authority has allowed residents to update their personal photos in the "Resident Identity" through the "Absher" application, linking this to several conditions that must be met in the captured photo or before taking it.
The passports administration warned those wishing to update their photos about common mistakes that prevent their photos from being accepted, including the presence of shadows in the photo, strong lighting during the photo capture, and redness of the eyes caused by light reflection.
The passports authority advised those wishing to update their photos to avoid wearing glasses or colored contact lenses, and to ensure that the face is facing the camera without tilting the head. Wearing head coverings or hats and closing the eyes during the photo capture is prohibited. They also requested that individuals wishing to update their personal photos avoid hiding or obscuring distinguishing marks and refrain from opening their mouths or showing their teeth.
The passports authority noted that after capturing the photo through the "Absher" platform application and confirming the request, it is necessary to switch to the "Nafath" application to take another photo and verify biometric features within a period not exceeding three minutes, with the requirement that the background be white.
